mummy opening

I am sure this has been discussed before but I have never been on the universal forum. Is the new mummy ride open? If not when does it open?

Its been open throughout this week for technical rehearsals. The ride isn't complete, but they're getting customer opinions and all that fun stuff. I assume the ride will clsoe back down soon to add the final pieces and to tweak the ride a but. It sounds like the Grand Opening won't be until Mid/Late-May

I just received an email from Universal stating that the Mummy will open June 25th.

The June 25th opening is for Universal Studios Hollywood. If USH can release an official date I wonder why Universal Studios Orlando can't? Hmm, oh well. I'll be patient.

I have read that the definite opening date for the Mummy Ride at Universal Florida is on May 21st.

Does anybody know if Universal will be offering a free day or discounted rates on May 21st?

They probably won't need to.

Free day at Universal! Nope maybe they will let the invited press in for free to take the picts and then after that escort them off the property. General Public they would need to pay to get into the park to see any of the ceremonies.
