March 16th (part 4): All crabs should be named Justin

The life.

It was just about lunchtime so we went over to Cookies to get some food.

After we got our food, we found a table and chowed down.

Here is my plate. Everything was excellent. Basic BBQ for the most part, but I loved everything.

And Mum’s plate. She doesn’t go all out like moi aka #poohsized

After we ate, we went to go watch the last crab race!

Now, people can sponsor a crab and they name it and crap. You have to get there right away and by the time we got over there, all of the spots were filled but we still wanted to watch.

So they put all of the crabs in the middle and under a box and whoever gets to the outside of the circle first, wins. They do several rounds to see who is like the crab champion.

The CM goes around to all of the sponsors and asks them where they are from, what they named their crab, etc.

So the CM gets to this one kid and asks what he named his crab.

“I NAMED IT JUSTIN!”

And moi and Mum basically fell over dying laughing.

This was funny to us for many reasons and probably only like one person will understand that.

It’s really too bad he didn’t name it Lucifer though…………

Sadly, Justin did not win. We were very upset.

So we got an ice cream.

After we got our ice cream, we went back to the beach and chilled.

We went swimming again for like another hour. And I relaxed some more. Like, this was big for moi. I can barely sit still on a regular basis ESPECIALLY at WDW. I don’t know what hit moi on this day but whatever.

We floated and swam around. It was actually perfect.

We dropped our floats back at our spot and then explored the island some more.

And then I got another ice cream because WHY NOT. #pooh5k

Surprisingly, the island cleared out pretty quick. I think maybe because people have dinner at 5:45 so they wanted to go back and get ready. Who knows though.

We dropped our floats off and got all of our stuff together.

March 16th (part 5): That one time that I was on a game show with Ryan Tedder

I LOVE YOU.

We got some merch before we left, including a very important item for my twin. It was necessary.

We took the tram back to the ship because I didn’t feel like walking.

Before we got on the ship, I met Stitch for da twin. He was telling moi that he was also chillin’ in da sunshine that day. #livinituplovethatfeeling.

We boarded the ship and headed up to our room and got ready for dinner.

After we got changed, we went to the Walt Disney Theater to see Disney Dreams. It was very good. The songs and storyline were great and it had a great message about dreaming and stuff like that. I still enjoyed Villains Tonight better but this was still great.

We went back to the room for god knows what reason.

Also, my matte that we dropped off at guest services was in our room! I don’t think that I ever mentioned that we actually dropped it off, but we did.
If you didn’t know, you can drop off something on the first day of your cruise for the characters to sign and last time I got a pillowcase so this time I also wanted to do something.

Love it!

I really wanted to go to the game show they were having at the D Lounge that night since we had missed the other ones because dinner was cutting it close. We just decided that if the game show was running into dinner, we would leave and it wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

The game show on this night was Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer. When you entered the D Lounge, they gave you a number and after one person was done, they would randomly pick a number for someone new to come up.

And who do you think got called up.

I look so awkward here trying to fix my dress but whatever. And yes. That is “Ryan Tedder” next to moi.

It was very intense.

So they had a screen in front of you with the question on it while Ryan Tedder read it off. I just had to say my answer to the trivia question and yeah that was pretty much that. And I also got two lifelines which were 50/50 and ask the audience.

My first four questions were wicked easy. Like, of course I know when California Adventure opened. Queen of Disney trivia over here!

And then the last question came up.

I was not expecting it after the easy questions—well to moi anyways cause duh—I had gotten.

It had to do with the movie Pollyana. I was ready to die because I have never seen that movie and was not familiar with it AT ALL.

Ryan Tedder said something to moi about how he was shocked I didn’t know the answer since I flew through the last four questions. WELL YEAH.

I had to use both of my lifelines but I did get the answer right. I truly don’t even remember what it was. Whatevs.

So basically I got 5/5 questions right and I got a really awesome pin and a trophy which is now on display in my room.

The expression on my face is like “Yeah that’s right! I am the queen of Disney trivia! Don’t talk to moi.”

All of the other contestants were like little kids who didn’t know anything so Ryan Tedder and his fellow CMs had to give them clues. And there I was on the edge of my seat ready to yell out the answers. #disneytriviaqueenprobs

It was so much fun though and it got over right before dinner! Yay!

Flynn and Punzie welcomed moi to the best restaurant evAHHHHH.

I LOVE YOU.

This was the night where we had two new table members. It was just weird.

So they never even went to dinner on the first night because they flew in from Nashville and they were tired so they just went to bed. And then on the second night, they switched to first seating for some odd reason. Like what. And they were just weird people. It was this woman and she brought her friend’s son along with her. Then they were leaving the next morning. Whatever.

Let’s get on to the food!

For my appetizer, I got the cheddar potato soup. Two words: holy crap.

For my entrée, I got pasta with some bread thingy. It was very good. I loved the sauce on it.

Yes. DCL pairs you up with people that are similar to your group. So it was a bunch of moms and kids my age. You rotate each night to a different restaurant and your waiter and group follows you.

March 16th (part 6): Tears everywhere for many reasons

It was pretty much time to die.

I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT SO MUCH.

Awful picture of Sorcerer Mickey but OH MY GOD TEARS.

I was crying.

After everything turned to color, we headed down the hallway to the atrium.

We were basically in the atrium when I realized that I forgot my trophy from Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer at our table so I ran back and Carolina was there at the table with my trophy waiting for me to come back. THANK GOD.

I grabbed my trophy and I went back to the atrium to get a spot for the farewell thingy.

Oh wait. Before that we booked another cruise. It’s casual.

The farewell thingy started soon after and a bunch of characters came down the stairs and you could meet them. Then they all said peace out and left. I was just sad though because Brent (aka the cruise director) wasn’t there! I was so sad.

BUT OH MY GOD GUYS. The video that DCL released for when they announced the new ports for next year FEATURED BRENT! I was dying.

While the characters were meeting, Mum went back to the room to get our bags together while I chilled in da atrium.

Anyways… here are some pics from the farewell thingy. You’re welcome.

After the farewell thingy got over, we went to Shutters and purchased a picture from dinner one night which I haven’t scanned yet oops.

Mum then went to guest services to put some money into our account and to mail our postcards because the post office wasn’t opened on the island. They said they would mail them out next time they were at CC. I don’t know if the post office hasn’t been opened or what because we still haven’t gotten our postcards. At all. It has been well over a month.

While Mum did that, I got my last ice cream of the cruise.

We went back to our room and got ready for bed. It was our last night aka TEARS EVERYWHERE.​

March 17th (part 1): Goodbye DCL, hello G Flo!

There were tears. Legit tears.

We got ready and went down to AP for breakfast. You don’t know how happy this made moi.

Only one other family at our table showed up for breakfast, which was expected. Not many people usually come on the last morning, ESPECIALLY if you have first seating.

Now, I totally forgot to take food pics. Oops.

I got a BBQ chicken omelet which was awesome. And I truly don’t even know what Mum got.

We said goodbye to our table and Carolina.

It was time to leave ): ):

CAN YOU NOT.

We went through customs pretty quickly. The guy asked if we bought any illegal crap or brought over plants or animals.

“No, just Disney t shirts!” – Mum

He did not find that funny. Ok then.

We headed out to the shuttle bus stop and oh my god it took about ten years. Supposedly, a driver went to the wrong ship. I don’t know how that happens but whatever.

At least our driver dropped us off right in front of our car. #lazylife

We drove home to feed Meeko and say hi to her. She was very mad at us. Well, sorry cat cause we are leaving again!

This was our destination.

No big deal.

We parked and then went inside.

We checked in, which was a breeze.

Did I mention that we were staying the night at the Villas? Cause we were.

The CM made mum an awesome birthday button since I put a celebration under the reservation.

Our room was all ready. It was right near the lobby on the first floor.

Mousekeeping just had to do something in our room before we got settled in. I really don’t know what she did. I was busy taking pictures.

Mum did ask her though what they were building at the Poly, as if we didn’t already know. She claimed they are going to be cabanas. BUNCH OF CRAP. They are made of steel for crying out loud! LIES.

March 17th (part 2): Being "fancy" at the G Flo

We went and got our bags from out of the car, brought them to our room, and then went over to Gasparillas for lunch.

Since we had an ADR for a little later, we just split a flatbread and a sugar cookie.

WHERE WAS MY UNLIMITED ICE CREAM THO.

After we ate, we went back to the room and relaxed for a little bit. We were both wicked tired. And plus it was raining and so that made us even more tired.

We got ready for our ADR and just walked right to it.

Our destination!

Since we were staying at the G Flo and all, we had to get fancy and live a Grand life so tea it was!

We checked in and we were seated in about 5-10 minutes.

We both got the Buckingham with princess breakfast tea. It comes with 3 courses and a pot of tea.

The first course was tea sandwiches. This included cucumber, salmon, egg salad, curry chicken, and we don’t know what the last one was. I cannot find it anywhere online at all. If someone could PLEASE tell moi what in god’s name it is, I will love you forever. I tried it and still had no clue. Our waitress told us but she said it wicked fast so yeah. (it is the one on the far left). It also came with an onion tart thing.

Mum really didn’t enjoy these sandwiches because she does not like salmon or curry chicken and she wouldn’t try the mystery sandwich so she ate a lot.

The next course was a scone/biscuit (???) thing and a berry tart thing with a bunch of spreads. I enjoyed this and Mum actually did too so that is good. She just didn’t like the golden raisins.

The last course was dessert. You could pick from 3 options. One was from like a dessert plate and you could choose two, strawberries and crème, or some banana thing.

Mum got the two choices from the plate. One of these is like minty and the other is like bailey’s moose. Who knows though, let’s be real. And I realize that the picture stinks.

I got the strawberries and crème. That whipped cream was fantastic.

PINKIES UP!

I guess you could say that this really wasn’t for us. First of all, the food was just ok. I enjoyed it, but you really have to like this stuff. Mum wasn’t a big fan of the food and didn’t find it worth it. Second of all, we are not fancy. I am not saying we are rednecks by any means even though we live in the south, but yeah. I mean, we were using the tea cozies as mittens. I swear to God. This is something that you try out and you can say that you did it. Some people LOVE it though and come every trip. That is not us.

Mum did get a rose though because of her birthday!

But really. WHERE IS THE CUPCAKE?! Told you they are fancy. It is the G Flo after all.

We went back to the villas after we paid and got changed to head on out again.

We went over to DTD because we had to go to Guest Relations for my twin to check on something.

We didn’t stay at DTD for too long because the rain was getting to moi so we took a bus over to the Poly.

And we got nachos and dole whips because #pooh5k

We took the monorail back to the G Flo after we ate and rented a movie. We have never done that before and I was exhausted so we needed to chill for a bit. We got Father of the Bride since the bridal salon at the G Flo is named Franck’s after the movie so it was only fitting. The CM at the villas was very impressed that Mum knew the connection.

We only watched half of the movie because I was so tired. Like, it was ridiculous.​

Long time, no update.

So hi. I know I have been gone for like a month. During that almost month, I have been sick for like a week and have lived the #dislife to the max. It is kind of ridiculous. I am two months behind on this TR and all I have to say to that is oh whale. I get out of school in two weeks so my summer is going to consist of writing updates and editing pictures. It should be a blast.

March 18th (part 1): Lunch at BOG and IT'S A FESTIVAL OF FANTASY PART UNO!​

When I last left off like 2 years ago, we were staying at the G Flo.

We woke up the next morning and finished Father of the Bride since I had passed out during it the night before.

After we finished it, we got ready and put our bags in the car.

On the way, look who we saw!

Mum pretty much flipped out because that is her future right there.

The G Flo is perf.

We got your basic stuff for breakfast.

I got a croissant sandwich, and surprisingly, it wasn’t even that greasy! Shocker, I know.

Mum got some pancakes.

After breakfast, we took the monorail to MK.

We went into the Emporium and I bought a wallet. It is mickey and pals on Main Street and has a vintage flare to it. I am in love with it.

Then we went over to 7DMT because duh.

It is crazy how far we have come since March. It is kind of ridiculous.

This is insane to moi.

We had a friend in town that was staying at the Fort so we met up with her at Casey’s. And I promise she is not “the other people” material. She is actually really nice and her name is Wendy, so yeah.

We all went on the TTA and then went over to Be Our Guest for lunch. We tried to get a FP but they were all out for the day so we just got in line.

The line wasn’t horrible. And plus we all just talked anyways so that passed the time.

Mum and I got our usual and we split everything since we like just had breakfast.

NOMS.

Wendy loved lunch at BOG and thought the restaurant was awesome.

After lunch, we went straight to Main St to get a spot for FoF. Wendy needed to see it because duh and I wanted to take more pictures because duh.

I told Wendy that she could stand in front moi of because a) she is shorter than moi and b) I had my 55-200 mm lens on. I said to her “I have my long lens on, it is fine” and yes I said long lens because no one gets photography so.
The woman next to moi looked at me and said “that is not a long lens.” Um first of all, yeah I know. Second of all, I wasn’t talking to you.

Anyways… let’s move onto FoF pictures! I have a ton, let’s be real now.

The girl next to moi was legitimately shaking and crying when Anna and Elsa turned around. I swear to God.

March 18th (part 2): IT'S A FESTIVAL OF FANTASY PART DOS and da PIN SHOWDOWN

Wendy LOVED it. If she didn’t though, we would have serious problems.

We went to Gaston’s for a snack after the parade. I just wanted some brew but since Mum had her birthday button on, WE GOT A FREE CINNAMON ROLL WHOOP WHOOP. And she was giving the guy a hard time anyways because he didn’t know how to say happy birthday in French and he STILL gave us free food. AWESOME SAUCE!

After our little break, we took the train around the park.

We went to the Laugh Floor and then to the Emporium and I had to fight a woman for a pin. I was in line waiting for a pin that I caught out of the corner of my eye. The CM was a cashier so I got in line until it was my turn. This other woman came from the side ready to ask for a pin and I was all ready. I had a pin ready to trade and everything. I like my pins and I wasn’t losing this one because it was part of an awesome set. I got the pin first, thank God. The other woman was like “I was going to get that one!” I just walked away, like the awesome person I am. I DON’T MESS AROUND WHEN IT COMES TO PIN TRADING, YO.

We went into Adventureland and got in line for Pirates. There was a long wait but we just talked and crap. It was fine.

After we got off, we went to visit my mansion, and then we went on the Little Mermaid Ride. Ya know. The one that no one can remember the name for.

We went to the front of the park and watched CTM and then went to the turnstiles to watch Wishes so we wouldn’t have to deal with the crowds.

We said bye to Wendy after the show got over and we took the monorail to the Contemporary to get something to split for a late dinner.

Worst pictures of all time because I wasn’t even trying, but we got some pasta and garlic bread. It was just ok.

After we finished eating, we took the monorail to the Grand, got off, and drove on home. Heartbreaking, I know.

And btw, here are the FE gifts we got on the cruise!

Yeah nice to see you back the photos of the parade are amazing (as always!). The expressions on the CMs faces are perfect and totally sum up the Disney Magic. I skipped through the mine train photos, I've just booked our trip for next Easter and am trying really hard to avoid all photos or mention of the train because I want it to be all new and a surprise when we see in it "real life". I'm sure your photos of it were great though lol xx
