Do you combine photos from multiple trips to make a LO?

Only if it's a picture I neglected to get but need for a detail in the story. The only other time I combine photos is for my ABC album, that's for leftovers.

I do albums for special trips- I have one for my 30th birthday and will do one for our anniversary trip. We live nearby and go at least 1 time a month so rather than doing trip albums I have park albums with pictures from various trips- many times taken because I need a picture of such and such for my book.

I have done layouts with pictures of the same places to show how much the kids have changed and some layouts of the specific things we try to do every trip.

I'm working with my pictures for the Tree of Life and Kilimanjaro Safaris. In '06 I took some, but in '07 I took more, different shots with half-a-notion to combine them in one page. Right now I'm keeping them separated by trip.

I would combine pics..but since I usually take 800+ per trip... its not usually an option

Nope, I couldn't do it, lol! I'm still working on my album from our last trip (9/07). I have room left in the album so I'll just start a new section behind that trip w/ the new pics. The kids each have their own 8x8 album, I'm not sure I'll add anything to those. I might just keep those as their first trip to WDW albums or I'll be working on albums forever. Right now I have 10 working albums and about to add another for baby #4!

I am still struggling with this question because I would like to make a "characters only" or "restaurants only" book...to track our adventures, BUT then I think about all the trips I may take in the future and the better photos I might get and how some of the photos might be outdated or including our children in the future....etc.....I'm slowly talking myself into because I think that it was just be an AWESOME creative experience and something I could do in a smaller format. So...no, I don't combine right now....but I'm trying to convince myself to do it!!!

I guess I'm the odd one out here. I am combining trips because I didn't start scrapbooking until after my trip in 2005. I have separate scrapbooks for each park and a resort scrapbook (not finished with any of them lol). The journaling varies from specific trip stuff to more general information. For ex. - I've stayed at CSR 3x and will be going back for my 4th visit there in Mar so the journaling mentions all stays and most of the pics are from my 2nd & 3rd visit (after I got a digital camera).

Yes! I took some pictures from our stay at POP in 06 and used them on an 08 layout. They're just pics from around the resort so I'm okay with using them, but I did have to convince myself it was okay.
