I have 2 old bands and an upcoming trip in Sept that will only be 1 night, 1 park visit (pre-cruise).
The first band was from a free dining promo and the tickets bought with that package are used up. It's not deactivated but essentially done with.

For our last visit we rented points from a DVC member then linked old non-expiring tickets. I'm pretty sure I only have water park visits left on my ticket but I'm not 100% certain. (and possibly different remaining #s on the rest of my family since we don't all do every park/visit together.)

I know you must have a valid ticket & reservation to book FP+ 60 days out.
I wish there were an easy way to see how many days are left on a ticket.
Is it possible to just try to link this non exp ticket to my new MB then try to book FP+?? Will it tell me, "Sorry, you only have water park visits on this ticket."
I don't mind buying a new one day ticket then finding out that we really don't need it; we could always use on another trip but I'd rather not.

If I do buy a new 1 day ticket and link it to my new MB, but there really are more park visits remaining on the old non-exp tickets, how will it know which ticket to deduct a day from? Would I have to bring different bands?

Let's say the system recognized my old non-expiring tickets but can't differentiate that it's only water park visits remaining, and it allows me to book FP+ but just to be on the safe side I buy new 1 day tickets but hold them until I see if we have remaining big park visits would I lose all my FP+ selections by linking a new ticket to my MB?

This is all so complicated. :faint:
I loved using the MB but sometimes miss how simple the old way was.

I wish I had all those answers.

I had REALLY old Plus options left on old hoppers, the old 5 + 4 tickets. (NO regular theme park entrance left on them). They were not RFID. I did not know what to do with them. they were not tied to any one person either, they were pre finger scan. We used them in the family and we just passed out the tickets each day.

I brought them to guest relations and had them put onto RFID tickets. I am not going to try and put them on the My Disney E App (for now).

As for any of your bands they all work for room doors, Fast pass+ and everything. I bring all mine and use whatever color I like that day.
