Multiple questions about Resort Hopping..

As i didnt get to do this last time i fully intend doing so on my solo trip. So many questions:-

1)Best place to park
2)do i need to use a day off my Hopper Pass as i dont at this stage intend to visit a park on same day, but a possibility
3)which ones would you visit and why
4)what "special" shops facilities to look for

Any other information most welcome.

I can help with questions 2 and 3!!!

No, you don't need to use a day of your hopper pass - resort hopping is a great free day out!!! Except, of course, if you try out some of the restaurants and shops!!

I would visit the Polynesian (and possibly the other monorail resorts as you're in the 'area'). The Boardwalk, and Swan and Dolphin, so you might as well wander over to the Yacht and Beach Club while you're there!! And definitely Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge - though I don't know if you can just pop in to AKL, or if you need to have a reason to be there such as a PS for one of the restaurants.

Why don't you book a PS for a late breakfast or Lunch.

If you go to somewhere in the Magic Kingdom resorts like GF you can then get the monorail around to the Contemporary and Poly. Perhaps the boat out to WL and Ft Wilderness.

If you do the EPCOT resorts you can walk between the Y & B Club and the Boardwalk.

We tend to schedule a few meals so that we can explore the resorts
