Multiple people/keys/cards?

When we are at OKW in May, we will have several adults in our 2Bedroom - so we will want several keys.

After looking at another thread, I'm going to update the reservation to add their names, now I'm wondering about credit cards...

Can different keys have different credit cards associated? Or, can you only have one credit card and all keys that have charging privileges will get charged against that card? (Personally, I would like a 'different key - different credit card' setup)

You can only use one credit card. You will receive an itemized bill however so your companions can reimburse you. Or they can just use their own credit cards on site and not have charging privileges on their room keys.

When checking in you can only give one credit card. But we're able to pay for our charges separately. What we did was settle up on the last day. If you look at your bill each charge is denoted by the card that charged the item. So at the end of the week we added up our charges and our friends. Then we went to the desk and paid our charges with our card and they paid their charges with their card.

Just to reiterate what Carol and Dan already said - it's really easy to see which person made what charges, as long as you don't mind waiting until the end of your stay. On the itemized bill each charge will have a card number followed by a dash (-) and a number. That final number will be different for everyone with charging privileges. Have a great trip!

I'd recommend just getting room keys with charging for the member and spouse and let everyone else have non charging keys. Many times the keys get switched around unless you're careful. They can always use their credit card for the purchase. If there's a discount involved that can't be gotten directly, that might be a reason to combine the costs and split them at the end.

hi: i've always let all our guests(even kids as young as 6) have charging privileges on their keys. the only time it was a bit more paperwork was with a group of 15, spread out among 3 villas. everyone knew ahead of time that they were ultimately responsible for what was charged to their cards.

It seems with our group that they keys go on the table in the hall or on the counter and they keys may all get mixed up. I'd recommend taking a sharpie and writing the first name or some other indicator so that you know who's card belongs to who.

FYI, there is a signature strip on the back of each key. You MUST sign that if you are using charging priveledges.
