Multiple Home Resorts?

Being new here Ive started to notice a number of people appear to have multiple "home resorts" I assume this is due to adding on points in new properties as they open.

Three questions:

1) If you have multiple home resorts do you get the 11 month window for both?
2) If 1 is yes, then can you use all your points (both resorts, banked and borrowed?) when booking under the 11 month window for either home resort?
3) Do you need to have a minimum nimber of points to have home resort status - ie. can I buy 30-40 "used" points at say OKW and have that as a second home resort?

yes you can buy resale points thru disney (the minimum is 25 points) or thru the timeshare store. Try to get the same use year though-otherwise it may get confusing when banking and borrowing if you want to combine both resorts in the same trip and need extra points from the previous of following year

You have a home resort priority at 11 months but only for the number of points at each resort. You can't combine points from more than one resort between 11 and seven months for DVC reservtions. At seven months you can combine them and use them anywhere you want.

With home resorts where you only have a small number of points, you can use banking and borrowing to your advantage. For example, if you have a 50 point contract, every three years you could use banked points (50), current year points (50) and borrowed points (50) to get 150 points.

That would be totally unfair to those who own at their favorite resort. If it sounds too good to be true, ...

1) Yes, you can make the reservation at 11 months for both home resorts.
2) Yes, you can use banked, current and borrowed points. Treat them like the separate contracts they are.
3) The minimum contract should be 25 points. I don't think they sell any less. What do you mean by second home resort?
