Multiple Contracts and DVC Login

We recently bought a second contract at BLT. After quite some time on the phone yesterday with MS, I had to sign onto the DVCMember site with a completely different email address for our new account because I was not permitted to use the same email for both of my contracts. She also told me to create a new MyMagicPlus login with that email so that it's linked to the new contract since MyMagicPlus can only be linked to one DVC contract. Has anyone else experienced this?
 
That's really strange. We have 3 separate contracts and they are all listed under our one DVC Member acct under our original email/password. It was never an issue. I would call back and speak to someone else.
 
I thought it was odd! I kept explaining that it made no sense and she said it had to be that way. Just doesn't make sense! Maybe I should call tech support and see what they have to say.
 

Is the new contract deeded differently? If there are any additional names on new contract, you will have to have a different login.

Thank you for all of the replies! Yes, actually the new contract is deeded differently. Our first contract we had our parents on with us and this contract is just DH and I. I guess that's the difference.

I added my grown kids to one contract and ended up with a new member number for it. It's a pain when booking reservations online and trying to use points from both.

I'm wishing we hadn't added them on. We're the only ones to ever use it but we wanted them to have the option if we couldn't for some reason. I can see it being a pain!!!

You can take them off and have it deeded just like the new contract and request all be put on 1 master account. You can still have them on the contract able to make ressies but not as an owner. I think I would consider it.
 
We have 3 contracts, all deeded differently. Contract 1 is DH & I. Contract 2 is DH, I and my Mom since she travels with us so she can get the pass discounts. Contract 3 is DH, I and parents since my mom bought more points so she can continue to travel with us ;) Since she bought them, she wanted my dad's name on the contract in case he ever tries Disney out :scared: I had 3 seperate log ins. It wasn't too bad, as I typically use 1 contract per trip and only occassionaly transfer points between them.

However, with all the upgrades to the website, it won't recognize my one sign on and the other two sign ons take me to the same contract. I know it is going to take forever to straigten this all out and I just haven't found the time to call and deal with it yet.

I currently have two reservations for June and November on seperate contracts. I called in to reserve the November trip since I couldn't log in on the website. I only have 1 MDE account and both reservations are linked to that with no problems.
