Multiple allergies? How to deal with ddp?

I think you will be fine and will be able to find a variety of foods!

My DS for his first 3 Disney trips was allergic (anaphylactic) to all dairy, egg whites, peanuts and tree nuts. I have always been able to give him the cross contamination, ie made in the same equipment as. It gets cleaned between “recipes”.

We mainly eat QS and do Maybe do 2 TS. Again no problem, we always find something. I did bring him burger and hot dog buns from home because I knew he would get the gluten free ones which would not go well with a 2, 4 and 9 yo boy (his trip ages). There was only one place that could not accommodate him-Rosie’s all American in downtown Disney, so we skipped it. The check at the Poly basically gave him a whole dole whip to try and then we bought one. She also gave him a row of Oreos and told me to come back if I needed more...for free!

Fast forward to this August, he can eat all eggs, although he hates them. And he can have almonds, cashews and pistachios-was never allergic but allergist said to avoid. And the biggest....cooked dairy. He is dreading that one because we can finally eat at via Napoli. And I don’t have to bring him burger buns!

Anyways, you will find food. Pretty much all the little kiosks have the allergy boom as does the QS places. And it’s is easy to read!

I agree with those who have said to not do the dining plan. My daughter cannot have dairy or tree nuts and many of the things that qualify as snacks have dairy, were not things she would eat, or I would not waste a snack credit on a piece of fruit.

Also, you CAN do counter service. But my goodness, you need to be ridiculously patient. It took us about 30 minutes of standing at the kiosk at Be Our Guest just to have someone tell us whether or not the spaghetti sauce had dairy in it. We had cast members (maybe new?) who didn't know how to ring up allergy notes and that took longer. They do have allergy menus but sometimes they're just complicated, depending on the restaurant.

Between dd and myself we are allergic to mushrooms, all dairy, wheat, gluten, yeast, corn, almonds, chocolate, and coffee. Severe reaction to bananas, mango and papaya.

Also taking recommendations for best restaurants to fit our needs. Thanks.

This gluten/yeast/corn combo- is it all the same person? I might try to avoid the counter service in parks because of the specific allergens. Dairy and wheat alone with cross out most choices you're getting in park for a quick breakfast. Lunch and dinner I wouldn't be surprised if you need to visit more than one place to find food and then get a bad wait.

I would definitely eat before arriving, and maybe plan an in park table service lunch, then do a resort counter service if possible. The resort locations will have more options for you than they do in the park.

With that many restrictions I just think it's going to take a lot of creativity that QS may not have easily at hand

And QS may not have the same ability to prevent cross-contamination as TS kitchens can.

The last time with my son, we were at captain cooks and they had to heat up the fryer specific for allergies, so yes they do have a dedicated area. And with the Oreos that he was given, the chef/CM opened a brand new package in front of us and handed them to us.

Even other QS places we had to wait a bit longer for his food for that reason but we are Ok with that.

Dairy Allergy mom here, we got the free quick service and I am thinking about upgrading to Table service, my daughter is 12 who has a dairy allergy and I have heard the table service is pretty good at accommodating people

Yes it is all me. My daughter is only allergic to mushrooms. All of the other allergies are myself.
