Multiday pass as parkhopper?

I have MYW passes for 6 days. They are non park hoppers and expire after 14 days. We will only be able to go to WDW for 4 or 5 days tops. What I am wondering is if I can use my non park hopper to go to two parks in a day. I realize that I will be using up two of my days on my ticket, but I have at least an extra day that will be wasted if I don't. I got the tickets through Official Ticket Center and they told me I could use two day's tickets and park hop, but I have a hard time believeing this. I think WDW wouldn't allow this because they would lose so much money on their park hopper tickets. After you buy anything over a 4 day pass, its only 4 more dollars an additional day. Alot of people realize they will never park hop everyday, so why not just buy a longer duration multi day pass and use it as a parkhopper. :badpc:

No, it cannot be done. The non-hopper MYW passes are limited to one park per day. If you attempt to visit a second park in the same day, the computer will identify the pass as having already been used that day at another park. Your admission would then be denied.

that's what I thouhgt, I don't know why Official Ticket Center gave me the wrong info. I went with them because I heard such positive things about them on the various message boards.

My AAA agent told me the same thing your agent told you, you can go to more than 1 park in a day, but give up a day on the pass.... she said that is what their Disney rep told them.

This is what it says on the FAQ at the top of the Theme Parks Forum here on the dis

"If I have a ticket that does NOT allow park-hopping, can I just use another day from my ticket to get into a different theme park?

No - you won't be able to that. If you want to know why read on. But I warn you - it gets a bit technical. Just a bit though.

The ATS ticketing system is designed to look at your admission in terms of number of days, and whether or not your ticket has park-hopping. It does NOT look at your admission as number of times through a turnstile. For example, if on Monday you went to the Magic Kingdom with a non-park-hopping ticket, and later on Monday evening decided to go to Epcot: when you put your ticket in the turnstile at Epcot, the computer's internal monologue would read something like: "This ticket has been used today. This ticket has NOT been used at Epcot today. This ticket does not allow park-hopping." It then would not release the turnstile."

I trust the dis more than I trust my travel agent. They know so much more here. And what the dis says makes more sense in this case.

Well, then I suppose Park Hopping is the way to go! ::yes::
