Planning on 2 contracts.
You have more than 1 home with 150 points each. You are scheduling a trip and the points needed are greater than the 150 available can you use points from the 2nd home to supplement the required amount.
If you can does it matter if it is 11 months out or must you wait to the 7 month to use the points from the 2nd home.

If you have 150 at VWL, for example, and 150 at BWV, you only have the 11 month window available for 150 points at each. You would have to borrow your BWV points from another year if one reservation for BWV at 11 months required more. I hope that is worded as non-confusingly as possible

Other than borrowing from next year when you have point available from your 2nd home can you give me some other examples of possible ways to utilize current years points from both homes.
? book less time and try to add on at the 7 month window ( this seems risky ) do you have other examples ?

I plan on having two home resorts with 150 at each. I going to bank on one and borrow from the other so I have 300 points at a home resort. I will alternate my home resorts every other year so I will have 300 points at a home resort to use at the 11 month period. I hope this will help.

Example 150 points at VWL for this year and borrow 150 from next year for a total of 300 for this year. Then 150 points for BWV I will bank to next year so I have 300 points at the BWV for next year and no point at the VWL.

One way to use both sets of points from the current year is to split your time at each resort. For example, if you own at BW and OKW, you might book your first 4 nights at BW and then the next 4 nights at OKW. At the 7 month window, you could then try to change one of the reservations to the other place. For example, try to get all 8 nights at OKW and then cancel the BW reservation, or vice versa, but you would then be able to use the points from either resort because it is only 7 months out.

If what you want isn't available at the 7 month window, you can always ask to be put on the waiting list and try to get it that way.
