I've just been fitted with my first pair of multi-focal contacts...have had them for a few days...going back next week for follow-up.
How many different contacts did you have to try before they found the pair that worked best for you?
At times, I think this pair is good, but other times/situations...I don't think so. Everything sharp and crisp if I look at something...but fuzzy if I look elsewhere.
I was told that it does a little time for your brain to learn to ignore the fuzzy "zones".
What's your experience?

I tried for the better part of a month, atleast two or three different combinations of lenses but nothing quite worked for me. The sharp contrast between the amazingly clear spots and blurry spots made me dizzy at times and gave me regular headaches. I kept at it because I really wanted to adjust and have it work. My eye dr. was concerned and said not everyone can adapt (I am in my mid-40s). So I went to wearing two different lenses, one for up close and one for far away. This system works much easier for me. However I don't feel like a see as good up close or far away as I did at times with the multi focal lenses.
