Multi-ECV families -- Where do you park them?

We're in the process of planning a trip for this July and have run into a snag. We're 3 adults ( myself and the parents) with 2 ECVs. We'll be staying at the Poly in a studio villa, and we're not sure what the overnight plug-in situation will be. Last time, we were at SSR and had plenty of space and outlets in the passageway just outside our room, but we don't think we can expect the same situation at Poly.

Do any multi-ECV families have experience with Poly (hotel-side info is fine, since the architecture is probably similar)? Or does anyone have any general tips for dealing with overnight parking for more than one ECV?

Thanks!

I haven't stayed at the Poly, but we've fit two ECV's and three adults in a standard room at Port Orleans French Quarter with no major hassle. You can ask to have the table and chairs removed for more room, but we just stacked them.

Last trip, I packed a surge protector strip in case there weren't enough outlets for charging, or in case they were in inconvenient places, but ended up not needing it.

I was wondering this too, we're planning a trip for a wish child in 2016 and we'll need to store 2 ECVs on our trip. Is storing them in the hall okay with the hotel?

Well, you wouldn't be able to plug them in to charge overnight, which you really need to do. And anybody could come along and mess with them or let their kids play on them.

Thanks ttintagel, that's exactly what I was thinking. We had one ECV with us on my son's Wish Trip, and we stored (and charged) it in our room overnight.
I was also wondering if storing ECVs in the hall would create a problem in an emergency/against fire codes.

We'll be sure to mention to our coordinating wish organization that we'll need a hotel room with enough area to store 2 ECVs, and see what they suggest.
Having a pink ECV is part of my daughter's wish (she has mobility issues) and unfortunately a wheelchair would not meet her needs (she cannot self-propel).

Thanks for the advice, ttintagel. The layout doesn't seem like there's enough room, but those floor plan diagrams are never a good gauge for reality. We'll just have to cross our fingers and hope the actual situation is better than the diagram.

When we had a tour of the GFV and Poly studios prior to buying in last month, my first comment to the agent was how small both were and where I would park up and charge my ECV. There is so little room in the studios: there's room for one in the area where the interconnecting door is, but I don't know if there's a convenient power point there.

Even in the Cars suite we stayed in this year I had several places I could put the ECV, but the only one which had a power point convenient for charging was on the 5 foot run of wall in front of the kitchenette. The first weekend we were there I noticed that someone was parking an ECV in the main foyer of our particular suite's building; there was a whole bank of power points there. I don't know whether they asked permission to park it there, but it wasn't actually in anyone's way. Technically there was room in the corridor to park outside the room (there were power points at various points in the corridor) but it could be seen as a fire hazard and would certainly be in the way of the morning housekeeping run.

If the Poly studio is like the SSR studio, there should be an outlet near that interconnecting door. The other ECV, you should be able to plug in near the table which may require moving the table and chairs somewhat. Another option might be to charge one in the shower room - unless you expect someone to be showering in the middle of the night.

Bring a couple of extension cords.
