Im starting to hear rumblings about the dreaded tiered pricing for multi-day tickets. Does anyone have additional information that they can share?

Im assuming it will be similar to the current one-day model with peak, regular, and value pricing based around busy times. As a teacher Im pretty bummed as all of my vacations will always occur during "peak" times.

We always buy our tickets as early as possible through resellers like Undercover Tourist... but the mouse will get his seasonal bonus if we take trips in the future. :charac2:

Interested to hear peoples opinions and thoughts about this. How will this change your future trips? Speculation Welcome!

I was wondering if and when we would start to hear the rumblings. I'm waiting to see when the prices go in effect.

A lot of people complain about the ticket prices being way too high. I agree with them 100 percent. So this is what I do. I get a annual pass and I make 3-4 one week trips during that time. Than I take some time off from wdw. Not too long ago I took 2 and a half years off. I just got done my annual pass this time I’m planning on taking off 1 and a half years off.
You have to do what is right for you. A lot of people don’t like my plan because you don’t go every year. You have to do what is right for you.
You could also get a annual pass and one year go end of July than the next year middle of July that way you are still going every year but not paying them outrageous ticket prices. Than you can sneak in another trip during that year you have your annual pass and won’t have to worry about ticket prices.

Iger announced at a conference call that WDW multiple day tickets would be transitioning to tired pricing later this year. So another ticket price increase in coming soon!

I forgot to mention that we will also be trying this strategy in the near future as we live within driving distance (6-7hrs dep on I-4 and I-95) We stay offsite abt 50% of the time so the free parking was a big plus.
