Multi-day basic ticket - P2P upgrade?

We’ve purchased the 2 day (+3 free) basic tickets. Park to Park isn’t really important to us, but it might be nice to be able to spend more time at Universal Studios, instead of a full day at IoA.

If we decide to upgrade, is the upgrade done for one day at a time, or do we pay a single price for all five of the days?

If it’s $60, but applies for all days, it may be worth it to us. For a single day it’s less appealing. We’re actually only going to the park for 2-3 days, so don’t want to drive up the cost too much.

It's an all-or-nothing upgrade, if you upgrade, it's for all days & is the same cost even if you wait until the last day to upgrade. (Just like Disney).

But it s it $60, regardless of the number of days, or is it $60 x the number of days on the multi day ticket?

I don't know what the price is, it would be whatever the difference between your tix & the park-to-park version of your tix. It's for sure not $180 just to add park-to-park.

Thanks! I was hoping that it was similar to Disney’s Park Hopper upgrade. My friend just had a 5 min conversation with a CM - they kept saying “you can’t buy just an upgrade for your two remaining days - you have to pay to upgrade your full (3 day ticket)”. Meanwhile my friend kept asking “why do I have to pay for all 3 days when I only have two days left on the ticket?”.

After five minutes my friend gave up and said “okay, how much to upgrade for the full ticket?”. The CM then said “$xx” which was the price of the per day upgrade.
Friend: “Isn’t that the price for a single day?”…
CM: “Yes, it’s the same price”…
Friend: “Why didn’t you just open with that?!?”

Guess we’re not buying the P2P! Fortunately my daughters not a Harry Potter fan (yet)!
