Mulan Costume(10-12) how did it fit your child?

My DD8 desperately wants the Mulan costume this year to wear to thte princess breakfast at EPCOT and for her appt at Bibbidi Boutique, if you've ahd the large one (size 10-12) how did it fit your child? My poohbear is almost 5' and about 110lbs (with a bit of a tummy) and trying to lose weight for this costume I'm just too afraid it will be too small all the way around on her and I'd hate to see the disappointment Any suggestions or thought will be much appreciated!

As long as her shoulders arent broad it should fit....I'm a size six adult (yay wedding diet)...and i can fit into the large child costume but cant raise my arms...my god daughter now 7yrs fit into a med...she is tall but has that little girl square shape w/belly
