Mulan Characters

DD5 loves Mulan. She is a must meet for our trip -- May 7- 16. We are booked for PSB dinner (Sun May 8); she will be wearing her Mulan costume. If Mulan is not there, is she available in China after 5:30pm (dinner at 4:40)?

Also, has anyone met Shang, Mushu, Xian-Yu (spelling? "the evil Hun" as DD5 says)

Anyone met Mulan dressed as Ping?

One last question -- she also wants to meet Pocahontas. Where is the most likely place to meet her?

Here's Mulan's current schedule at EPCOT from http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/:

daily 1:40-2:00pm, 2:15-3:00pm, 3:30-4:00pm, 4:15-4:55pm & 5:10-5:55pm

As for the other characters, Mulan sometimes appears as Ping near Sid Cahuenga's at MGM in the afternoon. Shang and Mushu sometimes appear with her as well. I've also seen Mushu doing greets at the Animal Kingdom's main entrance.

As for Pocahontas, I usually see her at Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK. I've heard she also appears near the Christmas shop in Liberty Square and sometimes at Sid Cahuenga's at MGM.

here is a list of where characters are usually seen -

the best tip I have is to ask at Guest relations - they can call a central number and find out where the character will be and when (even if it is in another park!)

We saw Mulan and Mushu together in China in Epcot.

what's a psb dinner? my ds3 LOVES mulan. he calls her his girlfriend!! i would love to do a dinner with her. he would get such a kick out of that!

We also saw Mulan and Mushu together in China at Epcot. They were fairly close to the lovely pond by a shop. Never saw any other charcters from Mulan. Never saw her as Ping either. Mulan was so friendly and so sweet! Mushu is such a cut up.

Met Shang at MGM. He was a total jerk to my dd then 9. I think he took the "I am a warrior" thing a little too seriously.

I saw Mushu by himself by a shop in China. Never saw any of the other characters.

We've met Mulan a couple of times. The PSB was the first time, then again at MGM. The time we saw Capt. Shang was also at MGM and my daughter was thrilled. He stooped down to her level and signed her autograph book and then posed for several pictures. It's one of our most favorite character meets thus far.

psb is the Princesss Story Book character in meal in Epcot. It now hosts breakfast, lunch and dinner. 4-5 princesses in attendance. Mulan is on the schedule but not a guarantee.
