Ok got a question. Some of our group is staying a Value resort and have gotten the QS Dining. They get refillable mugs as part of their package. We are at a moderate resort and have the Disney Dining and we don't get the mugs as part of our package? Can anyone explain this to me? We are paying more and getting less?

Disney logic rarely makes sense But to sum it up the regular DDP does not include the mugs.

QSDP comes with mugs

DDP - no mugs

DxDDP - You get mugs

It may not seem logical and there have been countless discussions as to whether or not this is fair, but if you read the descriptions of the dining plan and what is included this is in accordance with what is listed.

For what it's worth, we have gone without the DDP before and purchased the mugs and they are great value. If they ever stop offering them with the QSDP which we like to use, I would still buy them.

It's just one of those things that doesn't make much sense with Disney. With the regular dining plan being the most popular, they don't 'need' to really offer more than they do to sell the plan.
For what it's worth, we've done the dining plan 5 times (regular dining plan) and have never bought the mug. We've never felt the need for it. We're doing qsdp this time and will get them since they're included, but wouldn't pay for them otherwise. I guess we'll see how much use they actually get, or if they just sit in the room.
