Mug question

I know about the refillable mugs at the resorts. However, we are moving from one to another after two days. Is there a way to carryover the mug for use? I'm sure we are not the first to do that. How's it done?

the great mug debate, it can get scary, you might here other things, but the official answer is that the mug is only good for the length of stay at each particular resort, which means if you change resorts, you should buy another mug, and you really shouldn't bring a mug back for a return visit either as they really are length of stay.

I can understand not bringing it back on another trip, but we are only going from one resort to the next. If we stayed in one for the whole time it would be a different matter. As it is, we saw at Christmas the same mugs at the hotels as we did in the park. That made it more confuisng. How does the resort know if the mug isn't marked for that partiuclar place?

the mugs are all decorated different, and have the name of the resort on them, so it is very visible.

I was amazed to see people on the Disney Cruise that had mugs from WDW resorts.

I realize that all the resorts have their own mugs, but at Christmas, we saw at least two resorts selling the Holiday one where you buy your drink. So, it gets more confusing.
