Mug Men Of The World, Unite!

My husband is often the last out of bed. I've actually left him in the room and met up with him at the parks later. So, what I need is a rent-a-mug man. Do you know where I could get one? I need him to come to my room about 45 minutes before the first bus leaves for rope drop. Depending on the time of year, I'll take Diet Coke or coffee. The kids will take Mountain Dew and Dr.Pepper. Commando, all day park visits take caffiene! Also, if mug man is cute, it couldn't hurt!

Hmm...have I found a way to fund an Art of Animation/new Fantasy land trip? I'm female, but able to carry many things (and I have references as such).

I'm married to a morning mug man. He does the coffee run because I am usually prettying myself off to head to the parks & sweat my makeup off.

It's usually a little argument as to who does the last mug run of the day before bedtime when we have walked our behind's off.

I don't mind doing the midday run, it gives me something to do while my morning mug man falls sound asleep on the bed after 1/2 a day at MK.

You need to add some sort of memory building class so you don't forget who's cup is who's & what they are drinkiing.

I didn't realize how many Mug Men there were out there. My DH won't feel so alone now. He was really needing a support group.

Thats right... coke, sprite, orange, root beer + the diet options all together in the same mug...

Of course, he pnly has to carry two, but sometimes he needs to make two runs.

I was serioulsy considering not buying the mugs this time around (because we have 24 of them!)...but I have come to my senses. I think that would be wrong to steal the joy of being a 'mug man' away from my husband.
It wasn't until I read this thread that I realized that he was part of such a special, select group of people, who do a task that doesn't get enough credit.

Disney really needs to sell these T-shirts in the gift shop!!!!!

Having never stayed in a WDW resort before, I am confident my husband will earn the "Mug Man" title our first morning there during our June visit. He has been performing these kinds of scavenging duties at free continental breakfasts at hotels while I slept/showered/stared blankly at the TV since we've been married. I am glad to know there is an official title--the job doesn't pay much.

i plan on being part of a mug-team come august... there will be ten of us in four rooms... gotta remember the sharpie marker (for names and drink order on each cup), and be sure to round up the cups at night for the morning fill...

how better to be woken at disney than to have someone knock on your door and hand you a mug of your beverage-of-choice... surely it beats the stitch voicemail you get with a wake-up call! LOL!
