mt Crumpit

Not sure, but I think this is one and the same.

It is a slide that is behind one fish two fish. They put in snow for it too.

We saw it when we were there last December. It wasn't very impressive, unfortunately. A lot of dirty, slushy snow.

A snow slide sounds fun. Maybe you went before they had topped it up. Is it for single riders or can you ride in pairs. Hey flyfly...wouldn't it be fun if the GB's went on the snow slide and they took passengers for a ride too!!;)

LOL Selina! Just saw your post now!!! :p

...and I don't know how to respond!! :rotfl:

usf.i8....What website is that? Can someone post the URL?

This attraction is pretty...well, lame. While 60 feet sounds impressive, it's not. You can almost jump from the top of the slide to the bottom, it seems like. Yesterday, we sat in these huge green rafts that looked like they came from Wet n' Wild, and were pushed down the "snow" slide. We stopped pretty far from the bottom, because all of the "snow" was melted...what was left was brown and yuck. Not a lot of fun, IMHO. But then again, little kids may love it. My 2 yr old didn't care for it.

That's too bad. :( I guess the temporary rides can't be too great if they are only around for less than two months, but still. Maybe Universal will eventually learn how to make a more quality ride for Grinchmas...I know they haven't had this event for all that long...they have room to improve.

Steph, you probably went on Mt Crumpit too early. If you go in the afternoon (12-2 or so), the ice has melted in such a way that it is melting and re-freezing on itself and should be very slick and fun.

You can't ride this if you are too old? What is the age? This is my kids only chance to see snow or slush whatever color!

It for kids ages 9 and under only.

Also, it isn't technically "snow". It's a big slide covered in "ice"....the "snow" is soap that's being blown around through a fan, and makes a yucky mess.

We rode it about 2:15-2:30 p.m.....was pretty blah to me. Then again, others may like it more :) That's ok, we got the slide out of our system so we don't have to wait in long lines later :) Hehehe :)

As an adult, can you ride if you are riding with a toddler? 2 or 3 year old?
