MSP Folks..Shopping Question MOA

Hi,

Does anyone shop at Macy's or Bloomingdales at MOA regularly? I do not and DD (in the cities this summer) is looking at an expensive comforter that has been marked down twice at these two stores.

It is still TOO expensive to buy at this price.

My question is, do either of these stores have (extra percentage off coupons) or the like in the Cities papers from time to time?

Or any big sales coming up later this month? I am hoping for another markdown. (Calvin Klein Purple Flowers $250)

It's not common for coupons at either, but my suggestion is to keep hoping for markdowns. Macy's will be the one to mark down first and deepest.

I would say that is a good move. I often find Macy's will have a one day "extra 20%" off sale. They are usually advertised in the papers and often on Thursday.

Does Marshall Fields have it? (I know there isn't Fields at MOA but the do have Fields in the Cities--or Daytons for those who can't change!) It's currently the Field Days sale and Fields has extra 15% off coupons right now.

Like Diane, I have seen extra % off coupons for both stores, but I no longer get the weekday papers. Another option is to open the charge if they are offering additional % off if you do. That is what I did when we bought our comforter at Bloomies. That said, that is the one and only purchase we have ever made there.

Hi Karen, We have MF down herein Rochester and they don't carry that particular set, unfortunately.

Erika, probalby won't open a store charge. (enuf cards, LOL)

If anyone sees a "extra sale" at these two stores, please p.m. me and I'll tell DD.
