MSN Messenger, AOL or ICQ?

ICQ & MSN have about the same features I like. I use AIM but don't care for it much.

I use AIM partly because it was already installed on my machine, partly because I'm familiar with it, and partly because it crashes my machine less often than ICQ does/did.

MSN because that is where I can find DD to talk to her.
I do have Yahoo loaded and have an ICQ number but it isn't loaded on this machine.

That really depends on who you talk to & their particular personal preference.

I used to use ICQ, but my DB who fixes my puter told me that it is like a virus, so I had to get rid of it. I now use AIM on occasion & I also have MSN Messenger.

I use both AIM and icq. I don't always sign on, though :)

I like MSN because I can be "offline" and still see who's online.

I use AIM because that is what my Mom and Sister use also. We only talk with each other. :)

ICQ. It was the first program I used for IM (1997) and all my friends were on it. I've tried others, and even used Yahoo Messenger for a couple of years but drifted away from it.

I used to use MSN, but the new batch of friends that I've made all seem to use YAHOO.

MSN, most of our contacts are there.

We also have AIM (IM only, not AOL) and Yahoo messenger.

I use trillian and can see all the IM programs in one window instead of 3 or more. It supports MSN, AIM, ICQ, yahoo and IRC.

More about Trillian

Anyone that uses messenging services should use Trillian. Another poster mentioned it before - it's a great product.
