We are trying to line up where we want to eat on our next trip. This will be our DD's first trip and we are taking my parents along with us. My mother is very sensitive to MSG - she gets very sick and it will completely ruin her meal if she accidently eats it. She stays completely away from Asian restaurants even the ones who say they don't use MSG still have it in their prepared soups.

Does anyone have issues with MSG and can you tell me which restaurants you know use it so we can avoid them altogether or be prepared to stay away from certain items when we eat there?

I can't say for sure...I myself have extreme reactions to MSG and as long as I avoided soups and most of the Asian cuisine at WDW, I was fine.

To find out for certain, you need to contact Brenda Bennettt as she is the guru of all food allergy and sensitivity matters at Disney Dining. Her email is Brenda.bennett@disney.com

We have worked with her several times over the years due to DS's severe food allergies and she's terrific! She responds to your email promptly and will contact all the restaurants where you have ADRs to make sure that the chef understands your situation.
