MSEP - how much does it take to cancel it?

We're heading to WDW soon and because of all the party nights and doing pirates and pals, we have 1 night to see the electrical parade...I am worried about the weather cooperating... Does this still run in the rain?

Most likely not. Safety of the performers is the primary concern, a wet surface will endanger the parade running on time at least.
