Aww. you are the sweetist people that I have ever known. This is why I love The DIS!

My insurance will be re-instated on Monday, May 1st. It will not be retro-active. I will be able to start to go to the Dr's, etc. However I am in the gap (donut-hole) and will have to pay for all of my anti-rejection meds out of my own pocket! That will cost us a fortune!
On Monday, I will have the Cat scan done on my lungs, Tuesday, skin biopsy, Wednesday, Pulmonary Specialist. Then I have to go and see the Transplant Team! I am doing about the same. Some days are good, while other's are OK with my breathing. Today I am feeling tired, but hanging in! I can not wait until they can start to treat me so that I can feel better!
I am completly upset with all of this Medicare crap, etc. Medicare will not pay for my anti-rejection meds, because they did not pay for my transplant. Medicare will not pay for just a Pancreas, however if I needed a Kidney with the Pancreas then they would have paid!
Monday will be here soon, I already have the appt's in place to go! So for the weekend, I will take it easy!
