If anyone sees this at their ACM or Ms, could you pick it up for me and I'll send you $$$ ASAP. I've been on the look out around here and haven't been able to find it. :-(

Ryan, they have it at Mike's in Framingham/Natick. I probably won't get there until after Christmas at this point, but I'll pick one up the next time I go. It's $20, but with a coupon only $10 or $12.

jennifer-maybe next time we can do panera near a m's so i can check those out?
we could do smithfield or north attleboro.
do i need a scorboard??

Oh I'm positive you do :)

Maybe we could do a Sunday morning next time, so we don't have to rush back for "activities."

oooh! I have been looking for something like that but the one the scrapbook store could order for me was quite a bit of $$$$. Is this Michael's-specific and not at ACM??

And for you locals - which MA area Michael's is the best? We were down in Natick not too long ago and it looks like Michael's is moving?? Driving down rt. 9 East I saw a Michael's store front - almost across from the new Shopper's World - and I didn't think to drive by and check it out since I wasn't expecting to see it. I also didn't go to the current/old location since (gasp) I didn't need anything that day so I don't know if it is still open? Any locals know anything about this store??

I am not going ANYWHERE near Rt. 9 until after the holidays....

Jill

It's not open yet. I happened to notice it (again) on Wednesday night. It looks like nirvana! That's the old Circuit City. I saw the sign about 2 or 3 months ago, but had forgotten.

The one in Smithfield, RI is really really nice. The one in Framingham/Natick sucks big time, but I'm hoping the new one will be really nice. No idea when it's opening. I do like the one in Millbury, MA though.

The score-board is Martha Stewart. It's $20 regularly, so only $12 with a 40% or $10 with a 50%. I have only seen it at Michael's (and looked at ACM in Bellingham this am).

i can swing that!

I am finding this board to be very hard on my wallet as I am buying things I never knew I needed... scoring boards...hamsters...etc. :rolleyes1

..oh, and what is so great about the Millbury store? Can't remember if I have ever been there?? Is it in a plaza? What is nearby? Jennifer - how long does it take to get there? TIA!

Jill

I think Holly is saying that her favorite is the Smithfield one. That took me about 30ish minutes to get to.

The on in Millbury is in a HUGE plaza. That's probably closer for you. It's got Barnes & Noble, Target, Kohl's, an incredible movie theater. I think there's a Staples, Coldwater Creek, ummm...Red Robin, Coldstone, TGIFridays, Applebee's - of course, I'd remember the food ;)

That takes about 20 minutes for me to get to, I take 140 to 122A and mosey over that way.

smithfield is so my favorite one. ive never been to the millbury one.

and i've never been to and always wanted to go to a coldstone. i think there is one across the street from marketbasket in bellingham. right? i'd love to try that out too!

Thanks! I have actually been to that place - I recognized it when I saw that it was in "The Shoppes at Blackstone Valley". I went a while back with a friend to Justice as she was looking for something for her dd and we went to Red Robin for lunch. Since she is not a scrapbooker or a crafter we never went near the Michael's.. :(

Oh, I'll have to look into the Smithfield one...and I have high hopes for the new Natick one! Do you go by there often? If so, could you post if/when you know it's opening?? :)

Natick & rt. 9 are my old stomping grounds as I lived there until 1986...

Jill

..oh, just looked up the directions to the Smithfield Michael's and it's just under 20 miles away so not too bad. Is there anything near it - is it in a shopping plaza? I also noticed on the map there is a Salvation Army Thrift store near there - anyone been to that one? The kids & I love to scour through thrift shops. :)

Uhmmm...sorry for hi-jacking the thread! ;)

Jill

you are so not hijacking the thread Jill. i love threads like this. it's how i've learned about so many great things!!!!!

it is my all time favorite plaza. it has a kohls, old navy, target, staples, bath and body works, barnes and noble, yankee candle, childrens places, dicks, home depot and a few more.
they have a panera, chilis and pizza uno at the top of the plaza. it also has a ton of other stores on that road. rt 44. that's my neck of the woods.
where did it say the salvation army was? if you tell me that, i'll tell you how far away it is.

THANKS! There's no rush. I may try to look at the Ms near my MIL this weekend when we are down there for christmas.

When I go out with dh & the kids (dd10 & ds15) it's good to know what else is around so we can bribe them with a stop for lunch or something. ;)

Ah, rt. 44! Isn't that around Raynham/Taunton? Used to have friends that lived down that way and still have one who lives in Swansea but I haven't seen her in years.

I am not sure the location of the SA store...I just saw it on the map (mapquest) when I was looking up the Michael's location..

Jill

it's the same rt 44 but at the complete other end. no where near taunton.

as for the south attleboro store it's about 20 minutes from smithfield plaza. you'd be better off going to michaels in north attleboro and doing that plaza if you want to go to the salvation army store. it's about 2 minutes from the m's in north attleboro. it's a brand new store. i have not been to that one yet!

I work in Natick and can find lots and lots of reasons to head that way. I get Mike's emails so I would probably know of a "grand opening" in my area. And, I can always ask the oh-so-nice employees at the current store (insert sarcasm here) when the new store will be opening.
