I don’t have MS Project, nor do I work with it, but one of the managers here has a new employee starting, and he wants to add him to his sheet so we can see him in the Gantt view and add tasks to him. How do I do this???

TIA

Do you have MS Project Enterprise Professional or just MS Project? If it is the enterprise (server) version then he needs to go to the "Colaberate" menu and select Enterprise Options and Select "Build Team From Enterprise" and select the resources he wants to add. If it is strictly a local copy of the software then there are a bunch of ways to do it including jsut making a new entry for the person to add him to the plan. Also, if he is on the enterprise version he needs to be sure that he's logged onto the server with his own ID and not just using the software locally (working offline). Hope this helps.

Don't know if the above helped, but I just noticed that there is an error in my instructions above - go to the menu "Tools" and then do the rest (rather than "Collaborate"). Good luck.
