This morning I saw the debut episode of Ms. Marvel and I can say that this series will show a lot of promise. The first few minutes of Ms. Marvel reminded me of a Marvel version of My So Called Life and Kamala Khan is a smart schoolgirl who wants desperately to attend Avengers-Con and I saw Cinderella type elements in this. But Kamala reminded me of myself as you could tell from her room because there were superhero posters everywhere and some Marvel heroes were her crushes so I guess you can say me and Kamala Khan are alike in some ways. But anyway the show has some amazing effects in the Avengers-Con scene when Kamala's secret is revealed and it seems like a well done show. I think Marvel has scored a hit out of the ballpark with Ms. Marvel and I hope it does well. Can't wait for the second episode

I enjoyed it so much. Iman Vellani is just wonderful and captures Kamala so well. I want the second episode so badly. Just a breath of fresh air

I thought it was great - strong start anyway. Her parents are hillarious!

Yes! Her mother nearly stole the show. I've been eagerly anticipating this series & some friends I trust very much raved about the first episode, but I was a tad disappointed? I can't really explain it — I thought it was really strong and I'm definitely going to continue watching. I think it has to do with the source of her powers, which was different here than the comics. Perhaps they'll provide a compelling reason why they made the this decision but it was really hard for me to believe.

I was impressed with today's Ms. Marvel episode because it was amazing to see Kamala save the day and rescue her friend at the end. I think Marvel took inspiration from Nickelodeon's The Secret World Of Alex Mack that aired in the 90's because like Alex Mack Kamala Khan has powers too. I think Marvel has done an amazing job with this series and I hope they keep making it better with every episode because this show has some promise to it

Enjoyed the first episode, but the second was much better. It will be interesting to see who they make the villain. They set up several options. So far has been really well done.

I love the cast of this show. They all look like they're having a ton of fun and that makes the show feel even more wholesome. I love the little nuggets or culture/history that they are also dropping into the show without making it feel heavy-handed or forced. Also the Illumin-aunties?? That had me cracking up!

I am not the target audience of the show (45 year old white male) but I think it might be the best comic book to screen translation that Marvel has done. It feels in the same vein as Into The Spiderverse but gets more credit since it's a live action series. My younger daughter really enjoys it and she's definitely the target audience. It seems like an incredibly well grounded show that's expertly written. I know they borrow heavily from the comics which is great but the characters really do a fantastic job with acting and dialogue. Iman is a fantastic choice and it will be fun to watch her grow in the MCU.

I thought today's episode of Ms. Marvel was just alright and was weak at the beginning but towards the end is where the action and excitement began. For one thing it seems like Ms. Marvel is turning into a Marvel version of CBS's The Mentalist and a version of CBS's Person Of Interest and I wonder if this series is jumping to storyline to storyline much like Loki was? But you got to love the wonderful wedding scene in Ms. Marvel and I have never witnessed Indian inspired weddings before but the way they captured it was well done. I thought the Indian food scene was well done and those foods were so tasty I would love to try Indian food sometime. My mom used to love Indian food because when she was pregnant with me that was all she ate because Mom had a friend who cooked Indian cuisine and she loved it. But I do hope the next episode of Ms. Marvel improves a lot better and gets more interesting to watch

LOVE this series so far. Have read ratings are not good, and hope more people will turn in. it's one of my favorites of the Marve tv series.

I felt today's episode of Ms. Marvel was weak and they could've improved it a lot better. For one thing what was the need for Kamala to fly down to see her relatives and I felt like they needed a better storyline. I would have to say that Kamala's grandmother was the only likable character in the episode and when I saw Kamala's grandmother she actually reminded me of my late grandmother because of her beauty and wiseness. But I think the show is starting to become a Marvel version of Quantum Leap starting with the end scene and they should improve the show more because this storyline jumping doesn't work for Ms. Marvel. But you got to admit the action scenes were awesome in this episode

I thought this one was better than the last one - the action was great and I loved the Red Daggers. I did miss her dad though, who is the best character - I wish he had gone with them!

I'm really enjoying this series so far! Iman Vellani basically IS Kamala Khan, seeing her interviews and how she was told she got the role on a live zoom call with Kevin Feige et. al. was amazing.

Also, I've enjoyed every episode...for one the story and stakes are ramping up at a good pace each episode which isn't always the case.

I know it's had less viewership but that's due to several factors. Releasing the same time as Obi-Wan, etc. and not being a well-known character, but if the show continues to get good word of mouth it will be fine. Also, Kamala Khan is already in the new "The Marvels" movie, so she's not going away.

I think they are starting to improve Ms. Marvel as I saw in today's episode and it was full of action and what I think they took some Doctor Who type elements in making this episode. But the end of today's episode was a cliffhanger to the upcoming episode for next week. But I think if there is a next season for Ms. Marvel I think they will make it into a Marvel version of Quantum Leap and focus more on Kamala Khan's life and add more background into Ms. Marvel's powers. But I agree with ChrisFL that what I think why Ms. Marvel had such low viewership at first was Disney+ had released it at the same time as Obi-Wan Kenobi was they thought that Ms. Marvel would attract more viewers than Obi-Wan Kenobi. And as we saw with Moon Knight Marvel hopes to have the same success with Ms. Marvel

The low viewership os because the show looks like its made for tweens

Its has a vibe of Nickelodeon or the bad family sitcoms of the 80’s…..

Well, it is geared toward a younger audience - nothing necessarily wrong with that. I really wish that everything didn't have to target the 18 to 45 demo to be any kind of successful, but these days it's the only thing that seems to work.

I didn't think this latest episode was so great. It's like, what happened? It would be fine if there weren't only one episode left. Does it seem like most of these Marvel shows don't know how to end or end up rushing at the end? They all start off so strong, but then peter out. I think WandaVision is the only one that really has a good pace and a decent resolution.

It going to be interesting to see how they land this series. I love. it. On Watchability it's going high on my list. It's not for everyone. I like that we are getting to know Kamala and what she has to deal with. Also the power being linked to her family is really interesting. I know it changed from what it was in the comic. But that it is linked to her mother's family remains interesting.

I really love the Grandmother (Nani). And seeing actors that I'm not as familiar with. In particular the actor who played her mentor as well as the actor portraying her Grandfather. I will check out their earlier work. Unfortunately not much of it is available in this country, I will continue to research further

Wow! After a strong start the last two episodes just fell totally flat, to the point that the series lacks narrative cohesion. How disappointing! A lot of these D+ Marvel shows are a little ropey, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. they must save the A-list talent for the movies!

I was impressed by Ms. Marvel's finale and what I think they'll do in Season 2 is turn it into a version of Alias but with Ms. Marvel. I also felt that the finale jumped too fast and they could've done a lot better. It was nice to see Ms. Marvel become the hero of the day and that was a great ending but I think a second season will soon be on the way for Ms. Marvel
