MS can not book/check BLT at all today 06/17/09

I just called MS to see if anything opened for BLT for the end of December (like I do just about everyday) & I was told that MS has been informed that they are "doing something with inventory" & they can not access BLT at all today & to have all members call back tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky & they'll open up some inventory & give me my waitlist? Nice thought anyway!

I would bet they are releasing more rooms into inventory, and have to fill waitlists first before taking any more new bookings.

Oh, that would be great if they are releasing more rooms!! We had originally booked a 2 bedroom at BLT for a night before our September cruise for us and our friends, but our friends had to cancel their cruise so we had to change to a studio a couple weeks ago. The only studios available were OKW and SSR, so we picked OKW and waitlisted BLT. I hope, hope, hope that our waitlist will come through so I can stay at "home" for our first DVC trip. *Crossing fingers like crazy*

That's funny...I say that chant every morning!

It would be really really great if I got my waitlist for BLT for NYE, I really don't want to have to move mid-trip, but I'm not holding my breath. You might have more of a chance for August.

My guide told me that if there was no availability for my trip at BLT that I am planning for the first week of March that not to worry. More rooms will be released. I haven't booked yet because I am waiting for a friend to let me know if they will join us so I know what I need to book. I guess I need to gently push them to decide. I guess I can always book it with 2010 points and just throw them back into the pot if they cancel on me. I have another trip planned for Dec. 2010 anyways.
