Mrs. Knott's Chicken dinner

I know this is supposed to be world famous, but I would love to hear reviews from actual people here who have eaten there!

And I can't find pricing anywhere? Is it reasonable or typical theme park pricing?

I think the chicken dinner is about $16 a person and it comes with a lot.

Salad, biscuits, half a chicken, mashed potatoes, soup, corn, pie.

It's homecooking, certainly not gourmet or even close. We like it. The restaurant itself looks like it did when I was a kid in the 70's, for better or worse. Nostalgia, kitsch, tacky; probably a mix of all three.

The boysenberry punch is delicious and you can buy concentrate at the store, along with all the yummy preserves and jellies.

You won't leave hungry. We just went there a couple weeks ago on vacation and the food was yummy. I would recommend it for sure if you are there. I think we spent 55 including tip for 2 chicken dinners, Mac and cheese for dd and 3 drinks. Gotta have the boysenberry pie!!!!!

The line can be really long (1 hour+ ) so try to go at an off-dining time.

Love Mrs. Knotts! Ate there when I was a kid and the food is still as good as I remember it. we will go out of our way to stop there when in the OC area.

My husband and I FARRRRRRRRRRRRRR prefer the chicken dinner at Plaza Inn inside of Disneyland to the Knott's dinner!
