Hi. my DH gets sick on rides that are spiny. We have never been to DL but have been to WDW many times. Are Mr. Toad and Roger Rabbit really spiny? Can you compare them to any rides at WDW?

TIA

:goodvibes

Mr. Toad I wouldn't say is spiny at all. He just runs in to everything, so the ride is like that. But Roger Rabbit can spin around, but if you keep the wheel steady you don't have to spin. I've had a few times where I ended up facing the wrong way, but it's nothing like a tea cup feeling.

Great question. How is he on Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters? Roger Rabbit doesn't have to spin much--in fact, if you don't spin the wheel, I wouldn't personally really consider it a spinny ride at all, though the cars will rotate some even if you don't turn the wheel.

If I recall correctly, Mr. Toad is like a regular dark ride like Snow White, but perhaps with more sudden turns. You could probably look at a ride-through on YouTube to try to discern if it would be a problem, but if he has no problem with the dark rides in WDW I can't imagine Mr. Toad would be a problem.

I would say Mr Toad is just like any other 'dark ride' RR is only spinny if you choose to spin it. Think Tea cup and any other 'dark ride' combined. If normal 'dark rides' dont bother you, then these shouldnt either.

Thanks guys! :thumbsup2 He is fine on Buzz and all the fantasyland rides at WDW. I think he should fine on both of them then. He just can't do rollar coasters and the tea cups. I was just makeing sure they were not anything like Primeval Whirl at AK.

Your memory is 100% correct. Buzz and Roger Rabbit are definitely similar in the spin level. There is no spin on Toad, it is a lot like Snow White.

The are not like primeval whirl at all. While Mr Toad has some quick turns not many. And it doesn't bother many people so you are probably fine. Roger Rabit is likewise. It has a few quick turns, but it's not bad. Like others noted you can spin it yourself like the teacups but you can also hold the wheel and keep it almost still in the sharp turns. Both don't have many complaints from the queezy so most like you guys will be fine.

I get sick on many rides at the parks. I even get a touch sick on Peter Pan!
Mr. toad is fine. Roger Rabbit is very hard to "spin". I usually just hold the wheel and try to keep the car facing forward, which is tough to do as well. I do not get mildly sick on it.

My take:

Mr. Toad is fine

I get sick on the Teacups, but Roger Rabbit is fine for me.

(I can't do Space Mtn anymore, but Big Thunder is fine.)
