Hi-

Does anyone have any information regarding these two excursions in Cozumel? I have found a few things regarding Nachi from podsnel's trip report. ( I hope this is okay to cut and paste if I give credit). If not, I can edit.

Nachi Cocom Beach Club also offers activities: Massage, Parasailing, Sport fishing trips, Wave runners, Banana Boat Ride, etc; & Towels. Extra charges apply.

Does anyone have information on Mr Sancho's? Prices, pictures, ages of children it is best for, limit the number of people on the beach? Links to trip reports. How to contact them.

Anything is appreciated!

I can say we have been to Nachi Cocom and it was fantastic. I would highly recommend it.

We were at Nachi with Ellen (podsnel)...you are welcome to read my segment on Nachi in my TR (link in my signature) but since we spent the whole day together it might seem like Deja vu! ;)

If you follow the TR by fastpaks he went as well although he has not reached that part of the cruise yet.

We have not been to Mr. Sanchos but it is right down the beach (visible) from Nachi. Sanchos does have some inflatables out in the water that Nachi does not.

You can find a lot of info on both places on the Cozumel board over on Cruise Critic.

I actually deposited on naachi once and then we couldn't go on the cruise- I have a $19 credit with them - if anyone wants to paypal me $10 its yours and you get $9 off! They said I can transfer it!

We have been to both and I prefer Mr. Sanchos over Nachi.....felt there was more to do. Both were beautiful and just enjoyed Mr. Sanchos more.

We went to Nachi Cocom this past October and it was GREAT!! The food, drinks and service were very good. We plan on going back this May as well. I book through this site: http://www.cozumelnachicocom.net Just be sure not to wait to long as one of the great things about Nachi is they limit the reservations to 100 guests per day so you never feel crowded.

We went to Mr. Sanchos and it was not good. Terrible experience. When we got back onboard our friend who is a CM there told our CD that we went there and he stopped my husband that night and his exact words were, "Dude, you did not take your family to Sanchos?" The CD onboard was like you should not have gone there. Our friend who is a CM and is from Mexico was like that beach is unsafe.

Our experience was terrible there. I know others may have gone and been fine. But this was around the time of the Swine Flu outbreak and it was just a terrible. The ongoing joke is everytime we are going on vacation we ask the kids if they want to go back to Sanchos and they yell loudly "NO."

The bottom-line is they would not get us a taxi to take us back to the ship, I had brought a small bag with some waters, and snacks with us to the beach. They took that and demanded that we purchase water, and drinks from the. When I refused to have my children drinking anything out of a cup from them. They then demanded that we purchase so much stuff from their open market or they would not take us back to the ship. Another two families were there as well from DCL and they did the same thing to us. They even took our bags when we got there and when I wanted sunscreen, etc. out of it. I had to go to the front and ask for it. They also made some VERY nasty remarks to my girlfriend and I as we were asking for sunscreen for our children. We ended up spending soo much money there just so we could get them to get the taxi back to the ship. Never we will go there again.

We took our kids (4 and 6 at the time) to Mr.Sanchos last year early March.
We all had a great time, they do play club music with curse words, our kids didn't notice. Some college kids doing shots and stuff, again, didn't bother us, nobody was getting totally out of hand.
We booked through cozumelwatersports.com. Only payed a $10 deposit online, then paid the balance at Mr.Sanchos. My daughter was free. I think my son was 20ish and we were 50ish dollars.
That included anything off menu except lobster and shrimp....Sol draft beer and mixed tropical drinks.
We had fun.

This sounds like someting you should notify DCL about. If this is all true, they might like to warn people not to go there.:scared1:

We went to Mr. Sanchos back in 2003 so sounds like things may have changed a bit since then.....we had a great time.

In 2009 we also went to Playa Mia Beach Club with DCL and that was great too. We booked literally that morning as we had been undecided on what to do in Cozumel. We woke up and went to port adventures and booked it then.
