mr.potato head

I know that one of the stores in DTD has the thing where you pay one price and put him in the box with as many pieces that will fit with the box closed. My question is: Do you HAVE to put mr.potato head's body in the box or can you just stuff it with the pieces?? Thanks for any help!! Barbara

Nope, I stuffed a couple of boxes with just pieces as I had several bodies already.

But I made sure to bring a couple of bodies with me so the g'kids could play with the pieces right away.

You can also get the pieces at the gift shop in Dinoland (Animal Kingdom).

just did this on Friday. you don't need to have a potato Just make sure to have enough arms to hold all the goodies...tradional potato head arms won't hold the balloons, etc

That is exactly what I did several days ago! I bought a box full of parts! Even then I couldn't get all the pieces I wanted! Seems like this year they had a lot more hats and bigger pieces! But the lady said I did very well, she could tell by the weight of my box! I have decided to collect PH parts! Kids hardly play with it anymore but I love it!

Just returned from WDW yesterday and bought one in Toontown. I wish I had thought about just stuffing it with parts since we have two bodies at home.

If you do get a body make sure you put the bigger pieces in the body and then stick the smaller things in the box around it. They told me as long as the top flaps can touch each other go ahead and stuff the box. It does not need to close.

I believe the price was 16.99 and we got ours at the store in between Minnie and Mickey's houses at MK.

YES! I forgot, buy 2-4 sets of arms b/c the PH at home are gonna want to hold a balloon or autograph book! Also in set you lose an arm or two.

Spinning - I love PHs too ... sure have come along way since I was a kid ... back then (late '50's early '60's) we had to use a REAL potato and Mom didn't like us using all her taters to make tater heads, LOL!!!

We have a bic plastic bin stuffed with PHs and accessories. I noticed in January that Once a Upon a Time in DTD had the little PHs and accessories ... I resisted then, but I'll bet I'll buy a couple this summer.

I also saw this at MGM. They had the sorcerer hat for Mr. PH there.
