WOW
These are some great ideas!! My DW is a big time coffee drinker, so one of my ideas was to buy her a new coffee maker with all the features. Then put some kind of Disney related item(plane ticket, or confirmation letter) in the new glass coffee pot.

Give her a Jar of Nescafe with the new coffe pot & get your hands on a refillable mug from the resort you are staying at...AND PRINT THE DATES of your stay on the MUG. Something like "GOOD FOR USE ONLY mm/dd/yyyy to mm/dd/yyyy!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I love these ideas! I was just lucky enough to be surprised with a trip last month and it ended with an engagement! He planned the whole thing with my family and work weeks in advance and told me 2 days before we left. I actually did not believe him when he told me we were going and he needed to have my mother convince me he wasn't joking.

Here is my only word of caution- I was so frantic trying to get my haircut and manicure/pedicure and pack with only 2 days notice- I was crazy. If you can find a way to splurge on a spa day or beauty treatment a few days before, she will be ready to go! Plus, she will think that is her birthday present and not expect the real surprise!

I love the scavenger hunt idea! Or you can take a favorite picture of you two at Disney and turn it into a puzzle (there is a computer program for this and you use the stiff paper)and have the puzzle pices in the card.

I think you are wonderful. Ever see the show Big Love on HBO. Want another wife...... LOL

I think the hunt is the best idea but I would take several of the ideas listed above and use them on the hunt. I don't know how you could keep something this special a secret. Have a wonderful trip.....

Thank you everyone!!! My original post was asking for help but it just made it harder because with all of these great ideas I don't know which one to use!

My Step BIL had my Step sis pack two bags for their honeymoon. One for a warm place and one for a cold place. She never knew where they were going until they got to the airport, so maybe you can do something similar. I hope this helps!

That is a good idea, but she would kill me if it was some place cold!!

As would I..Fiancee knows honeymoon must be at a WARM place.. but that is what helps with the suprise and suspense.. what if it is the cold suitcase.. what if??? It will help her think of other places besides Disney

;) You guys have no idea how hard this is!! I have to make sure I get all of the mail, and intercept all phone calls. Just so she won't find out!!

Are you able to receive mail and phone calls at work? I did about 90% of my surprise trip planning from work, 10% at home when DW was out.

Mr. Disney-
Just curious if you may have an update for all of us?!

We surprise our DS & DD with a out of town trip for my DS's birthday. Granted a little easier since I can pack their bags but we just went out for breakfast...nothing uncommmon, then got in the car and started driving. For over an hour no one even asked where we were going. Finally my DD asked. Instead of coming right out with the answer we gave them clues until they figured it out. They screamed and cheered.

But then again with it being her 30th birthday you may want to let her have a week or so to get herself ready. There may be some details she may need to work out herself.

Do you travel? There used to be a commercial on where the DW had to drive DH to the airport for another business trip. When they got there and they were getting his luggage out of the trunk her luggage was there too, and he was holding two tickets to Paris.

Of course WDW is better than Paris!

Since her birthday is in August I am still in the planning stage. I have booked our room and flight. I have also booked a few ADRs of her favorite places to eat!!!
