Will this work for soot marks? I have noticed some soot stains at the top of my wall near the ceiling and have hard good things about this product. Wondering if it would possibly work for this problem. If not do you have any suggestions?

I haven't tried them myself, but my neighbor has. She really likes them, BUT she said not to use them on walls. It removed the stain, but it also removed the finish from her paint. I think she has a semi gloss or satin and now those spots look like flat paint. I don't know how visible the area is, so it might still work for you. Don't you just love cleaning?
