Mr Clean Auto Dry

OMG....I have been recommending this product on this board and to people we know.....and today DH realized that the sticky gummy residue on our car wash mit and the tiny streaks of gummy stuff on our vehicles is due to this car wash system!!

The Proctor and Gamble web site keeps telling me my "e-mail address is invalid, so I can't even complain to them. .....Until I call tomorrow!

Weird. I've been using it all year and haven't noticed anything like that. Keep me posted!

We've used it on both our van and travel trailer. Haven't noticed anything like that.

JB, I bought one of those yesterday because of your reommendation. I know you baby your cars! I haven't used it yet but it was on sale at Target and I had a coupon.
Keep me posted as I don't know whether to keep it now or not!

I never noticed it on my white car(used it for 6 months), except the mitt was covered with a dirty grime-almost waxy-even washing in wash machine with bleach wouldn't clean it. Then, my DH started using on his dark gray truck and last week he just caught a reflection and saw these streaks, he thought on one side of his truck -and presumed he ran over something(?) -I used windex and lots of rubbing to get off.

So today he got a new "mitt" and saw the gummy stuff on it ...rinsed and saw these streaks all over his truck and VOILA' he realized what he had seen earlier was caused by the MR Clean. He took digital pics I can give Proctor & Gamble. Maybe I just have a bad batch of replacement carwash(??)

And i am sooo sorry about my rave review-again, maybe I have a bad batch of carwash.

Hmm...my car is white. Maybe I should try it (??)

How often do you use it?

You know, I love the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers but you have to be careful of them too. They can leave marks (or remove paint) from the walls.
