Mr. Banks

Went to see Mr. Banks last night. I must say I enjoyed the movie immensely. Tom Hanks did a great job playing Walt Disney, I didn't even recognize him for a few minutes. The movie was enjoyable from first to last.... I give it a two thumbs up, especially for Disney Fans.

We saw it Xmas day and have to say, I definitely loved it! It wasn't exactly what I expected, but was still fabulous!

Loved the little details in it, especially near the end in Walt's office, there was a map of Florida on the wall, around the time he was scouting out the "Florida Project" that we know as Disney World now!

I also went to see Saving Mr. Banks.. I saw it last Friday (opening day). Being a huge Mary Poppins fan, I loved it! At times when I was watching it I completely forgot it was Tom Hanks playing Walt, and not Walt himself! I also thought Emma Thompson was fantastic as Mrs. Travers.

We saw it at the Disney Parks Blog preview at DHS on 12/13 I really liked it I didn't love it. I thought Emma Thompson was amazing but the flashbacks made it drag in parts.

I loved the guys playing the Sherman Brothers, they and Paul Gimatti made it for me.

I'm really looking forward to watching this movie, but I'll wait till DVD. For the 5 of us to see it, with it being not a lot of amazing graphics, I'd like to watch it by my fireplace at home.
I'll save my theatre time with action flicks like The Avengers etc.
