The parade went well yesterday - handed out lots of coupons

Then last night we went to the town fireworks - that's always lots of fun!!

Today starts another work week

Qtr is almost over.. not been a good one but them 3rd qtr looks good.. if I am still employed..


I have been giving Geoff driving lessons... and I am very proud of him, he is doing fine and so far I haven't yelled at him so I think things are going well. Eric s in football camp and loves it.. Summer school session one is over on the 3rd.. finals et al.. and then both boys have 2nd session starting July 5th.
I have been talking with them about what to do for the 4th.. since it is only one day.. But i think I get out of work at 3 pm, so we could go camping for a night and hiking. i am thinking of starved rock or another state park.. Eric vetoed that idea.. he wants to go to 6 Flags, but Geoff and Scott vetoed that idea.. I then thought about the Taste.. but DH said no.. what to do..

Dh wants to do a movie day this weekend.. so if we go, I am going to see the rat...

It's a beautiful day here in the Chicago area!!

The girls finally get a day to play outside all day, while Kevin gets a day to clean out the garage I'm at work in hopes of at least one sale to end the month with (fingers crossed).

We woke up this morning to a crying baby deer laying in the cul-de-sac. When we started to approach it (I thought it was hit by a car and dying) it popped up and stumbled away. I was relieved that it did, because I was concerned about the mother coming after us if we got to close, but at the same time I couldn't let it die alone (if it was dying). I sure hope it found it's mother, because it was crying really really loud - how sad, it was lost!!!


Yesterday was a good relaxing day at home. We had some good pool time, and I got to much sun :sun: I did alot of floating, and then layed on the deck for quite awhile - it was great!!!!!
