Good Tuesday morning everyone!!!

Yesterday was such a nice morning in the Real Estate office. We did our normal home tour (where agents caravan around looking at new listings), and then afterwards we went to the office for our office meeting and pot luck lunch. I met so many people and they were all very very nice, and very welcoming to me I'm so glad I choose to work out of this office.
Oh....and I finally got my name badge yesterday too, so I feel like I'm finally part of the club

Today I am going back to the doctor today because it's been a week since my last visit, and he wanted to see me. It's good I'm going because even though I feel better, I am still coughing alot - especially at night - very annoying for me and anyone with me. We have to turn the volume up higher on the tv

My sister who really never had trouble with fall/allergies had problems this year and had to start some inhalers and stuff. I'm lucky so far that the only meds that I had to do after WDW was Mucinex (well...generic store brand) and Z-pack.

I guess I forgot to post on the 2 threads yesterday--- everything is okay here. We lost power yesterday morning for a couple of hours. Our moms called to check on us. The storm really damage a town that is about 2 hours away. We had some strong winds and lots of rain.

Today will be a festive day around the house - Christmas tree #1 is going up in the living room today

. I like having this tree up for Thanksgiving, because you can see it from the dining room and it looks so pretty. Plus, it sheds some extra light in the living room, which we need. I have no lights in there because this is a living room that no one is allowed to sit in - yes, I one of those goofy people I do allow my company to sit in there though, so that's why it's nice to have the extra light.

Belle - I'm glad you're okay - I was worried about you!!!!

Geoff left for a Model United Nations thing and Eric is down by SLO at a paintball thing in Crete. So I have quiet to start doing the T'day shopping and clean and baking and cleaning..

THANKSGIVING!!!!

I'm up so early this morning.
Last night, at about 9pm, I looked at my frozen pumpkin pie and it said that I needed to bake it for 70-80 minutes I bought a frozen pie this year so I wouldn't have to bake it. So, that will be going in the oven by 6:30am, so it can be out by the time the bird needs to go in.

Well......we have another successful holiday behind us


Everything yesterday went great and my sweet potatoes turned out wonderful They weren't my Grandma's, but like Kevin said, I'll never be able to reproduce my Grandma's sweet potatoes perfectly.


We had some time to spare last night, so we up put our new tree (just the tree) up yesterday - it is beautiful!!!!! I was so unsure about getting white or colored lights, because we always had white lights. I decided on the colored lights, and I am very pleased with my decision. Now today I get to decorate it!!!!!
