Good morning everyone and TGIF!!!!

I have a busy, but fun day planned for today.
I'm taking Katie to get her Halloween pictures taken at Sears (she is Cinderella this year) and then tonight we are having some friends over for dinner. Should be fun!!!

We are being spoiled today---hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, grits, and a muffin. My Dad bought us lunch at their favorite Chinese buffet.

I already got my birthday gift a day early---a pink robe. We are going out tomorrow for lunch.

Jessie is having fun---running up and down the different hills and then running up and down the stairs.

Sounds like the dinner bell!

Slo, did I read somewhere that you got your real estate license? I've thought about trying that during the summers when I'm not teaching. Was there a huge time commitment?

Hmmmm....my school does a Halloween parade. Maybe I'll take some pics and post them next week.

Well tonight Eric had a party, just pickjed him up and Geoff is working the OA Haunted Hike.. so we won't pick him up until 11 pm. So it was just DH and I at dinner.. and you will never guess what the major topic of conversation was...

Slo, did I read somewhere that you got your real estate license? I've thought about trying that during the summers when I'm not teaching. Was there a huge time commitment?

I'm sorry I didn't respond to this yesterday.

It is a pretty big time committment. I went to class for approx. 3 months, and during that 3 months I studied all the time. Then after the class was over, I had to study alot again to prepare for my state test.

Now that I have my license and I am affliated with a Broker, I have to take training classes all through the month of November. Plus the National Association of Realtors also makes you take 2 all day classes. After that, I do have to take 16 hours of continuing education every 2 years to renew my license.

So...it is a pretty big time committment in the beginning. If you want to do the class I would do it while you are on summer break, because it would be a lot of do during the school year.

Today is going to be a busy day.
This morning I am going to my Brokers office for the first time to visit new listings, and then a meeting is held afterwards.
Then I leave there and rush home, change clothes, go to Stephanie's school to do her Halloween party.
Then we leave there, go get Katie at daycare. Then take her home and get her into her costume.
Then we leave home and go to my moms to trick--or-treat around her neighborhood (which is also my in-laws neighborhood). So we visit with both Grandmas and Grandpas.
Then after trick-or-treating we go back to my moms for our traditional Halloween chili and hotdogs
Then we finally go home to stay, do homework, and go to bed.
Whew......I'm tired just thinking about it

Well, I gotta run - Ms. Katie just got up and she is now sitting on my lap.
I hope you all have a safe, fun, happy, and exciting Halloween!!!
