Finally----LlebrekniT.... I'm glad to see you posting---miss hearing about your kids.

Okay---I like hearing all of the kids stories.

Nothing much new around our house....NC Beast has been told no summer vacation requests (except for the paid holidays that would most likely not be on that exact day or week). We may still be able to celebrate our 10th anniversary awake with each other <---okay that does not read right. NC Beast's regular work nights surround our anniversary so we may have to celebrate it on another day. It would be worth it when we go on vacation. We are still hoping to rent DVC if we don't do free dining.

We almost decided to stay home and get a garden instead. We would eventually make our own topiaries (Beauty and the Beast) for a separate rose garden. I wonder how much our neighbor would charge to dig a big hole so we can fill it and make our own mini World Showcase with a mini AK. (complete with a mini Everest).
















































Yeah right. I'm must be sleepy still--- . I think maybe a regular vegetable garden and maybe an area or so for flowers and trees. We need to save for a shed/greenhouse.

Glad y'all liked the photo that ibounce posted! We had a great visit while big sis was in town.

I went home for lunch today to pick up my checkbook and there were two mallards in my pool. Goodness gracious what a pleasure. My little min pin was walking around behind them, which is RARE - she usually chases birds and between her and the cat have tag teamed and brought them in the house. Evidently she likes ducks!

Thanks to whom ever posted the minimus.biz site! Awesome... finally a place to buy small vaseline for my trips. YOU PEOPLE ROCK!

NC Belle Thanks for the warm welcome. Landed in RDU at midnight last night then up at 6am to have the traditional birthday choc chip and walnut pancakes with my brother...YUM! Been going full speed all day and am about to konk out...oh, and be glad my computer is barely working...this axe murderer would LOVE to post blackmail pics of her favorite fellow MK extra magic hour buddies!

slo Just read your thread and my heart goes out to you. If it helps, I think you're doing the right thing. I have friends like him and hate to admit it, but I'm really bad about thank you's and keeping in touch too. It's like one poster said, "sometimes life get's in the way" and you get depressed and kind of want to keep things to yourself or maybe you wanna wait to make the call until you have time to actually sit down and have a nice long chat and then that time never comes and you put it off and put it off until months have passed and then you're too embarrassed to call.....or at least that's what happens to me...not a good habit I know...and maybe not his situation at all. You've been so good about trying to keep in touch and I know how hurt you must feel. Being named a Godfather is such a special thing and his not calling when your grandmother died are two HUGE marks against him, but I'm glad you're not writing him off completely, and especially glad you're not gonna let it bother you anymore... But keep him on your Christmas card list at least...his not seeing Christmas pics of your two beautiful girls would be the worst punishment of all!

I have to go for some blood work this morning, which means I have to fast . I really am missing my coffee this morning Then later I'm going to really miss my cereal. Oh well, my mom is going with me so we can go shopping afterwards, and she is going to take me out to breakfast - yum!!!!

No, I didn't hear anything yet , thanks for asking!!! Now that Kevin told him that my Grandma passed away last month, he's probably embarrassed to call. He knew how close my Grandma and I were, and he also knew my Grandma for a very long time. Him not calling me seems even worse now that he knows this information. I guess if I were to embarrassed to call, I would still email something. Oh well, maybe someday he will come to his senses, and if not, I have a lot of great memories of our friendship from the past.

Good Monday morning!!!

Katie was so funny last night. I sat down to read her some bedtime stories and she stood up, took the book and said, "I read it!!!" I said, "okay." So she sat with the book, and read the book to me how she thought it should be read. It was so cute !!!! She sees Stephanie reading to me every night and she wanted to do the same thing. This was one moment that I was really bummed out that I didn't have a camcorder going.

HOLA CHIQUITAS!!!! I'M BAAAAACK! How is everyone doing, other than chopping off fingers.

Tinkbackwards - what the hell, I go away and you come back - should I read anything into this?????

It was a great vacation. I don't think, though, that at this point in my kids lives that I would pick a DCL cruise over the parks. I am about Disney'd out after that cruise - the lines, the kids, the people. But I did love it. My desk is swaying right now - I haven't gotten my land legs yet. We had huge swells that made the trip really rocky.

I especially loved Palo, our verandah where we had a bottle of wine every day while the kids slept, and the time with the kids. I love St. Maarten and I thoroughly enjoyed St. Thomas and our time at Coki Beach.

I didn't like the lines every night for autographs, pictures, dinner, the shows, getting off the ship, anything - we que'd for everything. I know you British love that stuff, danauk, but for me, it stunk. We gave up after about day three. I also didn't like not having a 24 hour buffet. It became a real issue with trying to feed Catrina one night that we wanted to hit dinner prior to the early show because My husband and I had spa reservations and Palo later in the evening but I didn't want the kids to miss Disney Dreams. Our sailing was a rare sailing without matinees due to training a new cast. I was almost panicked trying to find milk for Catrina for her evening in Flounders - it was near impossible to find any without ordering and therefore waiting for room service at 6 pm at night.

But really, it was very enjoyable and I loved the food although I was prepared not to be that impressed. I thought the ship was beautiful and it was fun! We had a great time in the islands and I have to say nothing anywhere rivals Castaway Cay - holy beautiful and perfect. I am still sunburnt from it on Friday. AWESOME!!!!! Konk Koolers are my new favorite drink in the world!

Anyhow, CG welcome back and glad you had a good trip. Tell us about conk koolers. I tried a Mojito at a Cuban place and loved it. I don't blame you on queuing...ylk.

Cadburysmom happy belated. Just think, you are a year prettier and wiser. It's like earning stripes. Oh and thanks about me and Brynn but I am afraid I've got a lot of work to do before being in tip top shape again. She's a really good baby though and it's going to kill me in 3 weeks when I'm forced to return to the dungeon.

slo seems I am always a day late and a dollar short. I wish I could capture more Kodak moments, but seems I don't have the camera when I need it. Sounds like my Tye. He always wants to read to me and poor thing hasn't a clue, but he enjoys making it up as he goes along.


Well, I have to say......my trip was terrific. The only thing I didn't do that I wanted to was eat at Crystal Palace. I love that place. Oh...and if I could have, I'd have loved for all you pretties to be there too. Some day, some day. Mad4Mickey finally got to meet me. She's a hoot and I am glad I got to give her a great big hug! CmomI hugged her for you too.

NC can you come over and make me a pretty garden too??? I think I'd like a small pond, woman made, as well.

geffric those chocolates looks YUM. Since my pregnancy with Brynn, I've found a new love for chocolates in my tummy. Not a bunch, but an appreciation for sure!

Lewski709---love the pictures....sure I would dig you a small pond, but it would cost ya. NC Beast and I are considering some planters on the back deck for now. I think we put off too long on tilling the backyard. What we want to do now to our house and yard would require me to get a nice job (which we were planning to do anyway).
So, how do you like OKW and SSR? We are struggling to choose resorts if we choose to not to do free dining.
