Hope everyone had a great weekend. My hubby will be home in about 6 weeks!! yipee- maybe even earlier but that is the unofficial date. Hopefully he will surprise me in May!!

Cheeringmom--- I've never seen Cadburysmom with an axe....but, she was able to know which car was ours at CSR back in 5/2004 without us telling her our plate and car color. I better hush before she comes back from her trip and decides to show blackmail photos. Wait a minute...she may not be able to produce those photos with her computer....

SLO IMO i would not end the friendship and I would keep the cards going but nix the gifts. I understand that people are busy but in my opinion no friend should be too busy to call or email just to say HI. 20 yrs is a long time....

Slo- I read your thread. Quite the dilemma you have. It sounds like your friend just isn't very dependable. Sounds like you have 2 choices - first, stay casual friends but not expect much or second, call it quits. Hope it all works out for you!

Thank you for your opinionsCheeringmom and Tigger Fans!. He still hasn't called me since his conversation with Kevin the other day. Kevin told him when I would be home on Tuesday, and you would think that he would have definitly called after Kevin told him my Grandma died (he knew my Grandma very well). I'm basically going to write him off. If he calls great, if he doesn't great. I'm done stressing out about it. I'm not going to tell him that I'm writing him off, I'm just done being the only one trying to keep this friendship going. For someone so religious, which he really is, I would think that God wouldn't approve of him neglecting his Goddaughter. We choose him as Godfather because of his strong faith and I firmly believed he would be involved with her life forever. I didn't feel this was unrealistic because my Godparents (my parents best friends) are still very involved with my life. Oh well, what are you going to do.

Good luck with picking up Sam !!! I had to laugh about the losing 5lbs from climbing the stairs, I have a quad and I feel the same way sometimes. How is your finger doing???

Morning.. just starting off my work day... Eric is off school the rest of this week. he went to a roller skating party last night and today he and some friends are going to do an air soft gun thing. Other than that , Geoff is at school, DH and I at work and the cat is out looking for critters to play with... Tonight is Eric's schools open house. This weekend is the first weekend in several without a boy scout camping trip. so i guess we will go to Great America and ride some coasters.

SLO I think you have a good attitude about the situation. When do you start Real Estate classes?

Cheeringmom SAM is done with her first year at college so fast?? Where did the time go?? How is your finger? Have fun getting her and then is she home all summer long?

We are doing well! We just got back from WDW in April, and it was wonderful. Planning our Fall Break Trip right now! I've gotta nail down some ADR's, trying to decide what we can/can't miss eating this trip. Decisions, decisions...

Many of eric's friends are playing airsoft guns.. I am not a fan at all and have explained to the boys that I don't approve.. but I am downtown at work and he is going with his friends to play... not much I can do about it... It is one of those things that "everyone" is doing it things..

Guess we just missed you at April ( again)... We came back from the Magic on Sat April 1st and stayed at WDW for the weekend...

Geoff is a Freshman in High school and Eric is in 7th grade.. Is Miss Ella ready for kindergarten yet??
