Sending Sam back to school tomorrow. I will be a basket case. Its going to be a blue January around here.

Your welcome - I was so glad that my mom shared it with me and that's why I wanted to share it with all of you. There are so many times that our children give us grey hairs and it's nice to read something like this to know that our children are worth every one of those grey hairs

Woa, blast from the past! I rawked at International Law - I mean rocked it - I totally should have kept with it and went to law school. One of my favorite case studies was a mineral dispute off shore. Its probably why I primarily do law now and am very good at what I do (not to be egotistical about it or anything ) What brought me back out of that F.S.O. career was a longing for home - I was no good with the whole say goodbye to your family for nine months and don't tell them where you are thing. I spent one year doing well, let's just say I can't say, and then I came home. My Dad was getting worse with his Parkinsons and he still wanted to run our family real estate business and he had no business doing that so I went into the business with him so he could keep at it - and the rest is history.

Just popping in to say that I'm alive and thank you all for the birthday wishes. So nice to be thought of.

I won't overstay my welcome though. It's wicked busy, as always, around here. I'm helping DHB with building her new home. We had a wonderful trip to WDW before Christmas and my family is doing well. Ella turned three while we were there.

castlegazer, How's that sweet Catrina? I think I skimmed a few pages ago that you had her training for the 100 meter dash in the 2024 Olympics? WOW! I'm impressed. How's the scrapbooking going? We are staying with my MIL while we build a NEW house, so all my scrapbooking stuff is in storage. This would prolly be a good time to start doing that Digital stuff you do. However, I have NO free time since I'm building a NEW house. Hey, did I mention that I'm building a NEW house? We are contracting it all out ourselves (well, llebrekniT's DH is picking all the contractors), so I am wicked busy. But it's good busy. Crazy busy, but good busy.

geffric, Your kids are so awesome. I can't believe all the cool stuff they do. You are one heck of a mom to have kids that are so freakin' motivated. I's impressed.

NCBelle, any trips planned for 2006? We are going to tackle Spring Break this year.

Hey DHB!!! How are the kiddies? I noticed LlebrekniT was on earlier.


No big trips to WDW planned yet for this---even though I'm hoping for a quickie trip in May or a nice week long in Nov. or Dec. (maybe DVC rental). We are trying pay down our past trips (WDW and roadtrip to both sides last month). Our computer is so dang slow---we are closer to NC Beast being able to build our almost-ultimate geek gaming computer.

We might got visit my aunts and uncles in TN in the spring (they are like 45 minutes away from Dollywood and would babysit Jessie if we go on a side trip). I'm thinking a TX trip is in order this year if we don't do TN or WDW. We can stay with my Dad's older sister in San Antonio and NC Beast's brother in Houston. I just hope that we can get good airfares this year.

We will go visit our parents too---sometime between spring and New Years.




edit: I guess that our New Year's resolution is to get more things for the house. We hope to be able to travel some this year outside of the family. We enjoyed our trips last year---but, I doubt that we will be doing WDW (on-site) twice in the same year in the near future.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I really enjoyed my 2 weeks home with the kids. We didn't do much of anything, which was grrrrrrrreat.

Not much happening, just getting ready for a.......BABY! Yep, she's gonna be here soon and I am ready for the time off work.

I am in nesting. She's due about the end of FEB. They've not moved my date, but say by measurements and US I am about 3 weeks ahead. Wooo hooo. No trip to the mouse yet. Soon, it will be next year I'm thinking. Probably later than sooner.

Cmom well I heard something all about you and decided I gotta make some time and get my rear in gear and get back in there. You keep us up to speed.

I also heard some other hullabaloo and came to check it out too. Yep, confirmed it and but, doesn't really surprise me. Plus....YAY for Rick. What a nice deserving chap to get such a title. He's a good egg, that one.

I haven't been watching much TV lately - I know, aghast!!! I am gearing up for 24 and Battlestar Gallactica, though.

24 & Battlestar Gallactica? Nope, not me. How 'bout LOST is finally back tomorrow? It's about time. I barely even remember what's goin' on it's been so long.

Anyway, back to The Office. I am in love with Jim. He is so great. Oh, and DH got me the new Ipod for Christmas so I can download video on it. Last night I downloaded The Dundies episode. Too funny.
