cadsmom I am sooo sorry your trip was called off - this is a doosy of a cold if Jordan has the same thing wrecking havoc in our household. I am a mess today from it - hopefully Catrina is better, at least I haven't been called to come get her. I really hope Jordan feels better soon.

Too bad they don't have those cool CNN satellite phones to patch you in to the festivities live. Not the same but thatda be cool.

Just picked up Geoff from the math tutor's, Eric from Football equipment turn in, finished the last load of laundry, printed the boarding passes. I have my POP reservations printed out, ME tags on the luggage, ADR's on a list, passes, DDE card, DVC card and Disney Rewards card..

I am done and ready to go.. now off to packing....

I just love Fridays, especially when I don't have to go to work I'm off today because Stephanie has a 1/2 day and I also have a parent/teacher conference with her teacher this afternoon.

cadsmom - How is your DD doing? I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip and I hope your DD is feeling better really soon.

Thank you all for your kind words about Jordan. After two rough nights, he's doing much better. I'd had just landed in the Orlando airport when I found I had a message from my DSIL who was in a panic because she'd had to pick up Jordan early from school due to high fever and, um, getting sick As any mom would do, I totally freaked, broke out into tears and headed back to the SW counter where they so generously put me on the next flight back home with no change fees whatsoever...how cool was that...Southwest rocks!

But I'm just so sad and disappointed about not getting to meet up with ChocolateSista, her handsome Chocolateteen and of course, our favorite cruising birthday girl, Ibouncetoo It was so hard to be so close and have to turn around and come home. They're gonna have a blast and I just hate that I can't be there with them. Guess I'll just have to wait til next year Anyone care to join us?

Friday (11/11) was the 11th anniversary of the NC B's first date back in '94.

That means we have been together for 1/3 of my life (be nice and not figure out my age too fast).

I'm going to my first Dis meet ever today and I'm pretty excited about it I'll have to let you all know how it went.

Happy Anniversary for your first date NCBelle. I don't rememnber the first exact first date for my DH and I, but I do know that it was in July of 1988 - we were both 16yrs old. We have now been married for 10 1/2 years and I am 34yrs old - that means I've been with my DH for about 1/2 my life - he's the only man I've ever dated .

Well, I better run and do something with my Saturday - have a good day!!
