Well, I'm officially booked, even went on line and booked Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure. Palo, of course, was all booked up for the internet reservations, so I'll have to do that when I get on board (want to do brunch on the 7th). Got a great room 7125.....deck seven, aft...just what I wanted. Now I can sneak off to the secret verandah and have my morning tea.

I'm off to Sports Authority to see if they have a snorkel mask that fits over prescription eyeglasses.

That's so AWSOME! You're gonna have a blast and oh, how I wish I was cruisin' with ya. Deck 7 is a great location....we were upgraded to cabin 7112 last year and it was wonderful! Can't wait to hear all about it at Cape May!

Now, should it go on the gold, olive or pumpkin colored t-shirt (I have a light olive too....but it clashes with the background behind the writing)? Don't know if I'll wear it on embarkation day or on my actual birthday....when I'll just be lounging around the ship.

Geffric As a mom of two Boy Scouts, just thought you'd like to know I am NOT at all happy with their organization...I've become addicted to their evil chocolate-covered caramel popcorn and I smell conspiracy...are you sure they don't put drugs in that stuff..it's just TOO darn good to be true! If I'm 30 lbs heavier when you meet me in Nov, you'll know EXACTLY who to blame

ACTUAL birthday is 11/7....however, I ALWAYS celebrate for at least a week!

First scheduled celebration is Friday the fourth (work and family), then non-stop celebrating the fifth through the thirteenth (OK, maybe I'll stop on the 12th).

So, tell this wondering female looking to get away for a few days alone what dates you all are getting together for in November. There is a new airline that leaves from 2 minutes from our house offering $39 one way fares to Sanford. I will never take my kids into Sanford after our last experience, but I may be tempted to do it alone......

My BIL's wedding was very nice - completely rained out with Tammy so we got something like 5" in an hour and they were stubborn and still had the ceremony outside - but all in all, umbrellas and all - it was a good time and very nice and they are very happy. Me, on the other hand, am just sooo happy to be done with these crazy weekends for a while - happy that my duoponi silk dress didn't get ruined - and happy that my son made me soo proud.

My son was awesome, so handsome, and soooo, good. I paid $150 to hate my hair and makeup, but what can you do.... Everyone thought my daughter was amazing - she loves to smile and laugh at everyone. She loved dancing at the party as did my son.

So that's it for snidbits of my weekend.

I'm having a birthday week too---most of my birthday celebrations when I was young were done sometime in the week and half between my sister's (10/17) and my true date (10/28). There are a lot of October b-days on my mom's side.
