My Orthopedic appointment went well yesterday.

He said that the problem is a "mechanical problem" and he firmly believes that it's not a connective tissue problem (thank God). So, I have to go to physical therapy a couple of times a week for about 6 weeks (like I have time for that). So I'm going to go back to the same physical therapy place I went to for my neck last year, and I start next Tuesday. Then I have to go back and see the doctor again in 5 weeks. So, it was pretty good news, and since this is someone I know personally, I trust that he is giving me the best care

Geffric , I heard from a little birdie your son is wrestling : ) ITS A GREAT SPORT ! What weight class ? and also do you have The Wrestling Mom shirt in your school colors cause if you dont I have a contact for you here that could make it cheap and send it to you .
Is he going to Wrestle Freestyle/ Greco because it will help him to wrestle in the summer if he can .

I have not been here in so long I just kinda wanted top see if my room was still here

Eric is District champ for his weight120 lbs..( 8th grade) he will go into hhigh school and wrestle for them too.He starts wrestlying camp for HS in June. I'll check on the shirt at the HS and if they don't have it, I'll let you know..

HOw have things been at your end of the world? BTW going to WDW in October?

Hi M4M! I was laughing pretty hard when we were at the grocery store checking out the corned beef (Rick's thread). We decided to skip that and got some Guiness (sp ?) for this weekend.

I have to go to the dealer this morning because my one sliding door won't slide, and there's a constant beeping because of it (it drove me crazy coming home from work yesterday. Plus, I gave up music in the car for Lent, and therefore it really bugged me in the silence). I'm sure hoping they can fix the car today in decent time, because Katie isn't going to want to sit there

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!!


Stephanie is making her first Reconciliation this morning.
She is so nervous and scared
Luckily, they are able to take an index card with them to help them remember what to say.

I hope Stephanie fared well in her first confession. I didn't have to memorize for my first one. It was more of my priest having Q&A with some conversion---but, it was not in the traditional confessional.

I got my green on today and wishing for some brown bread to snack on.

Remember, next week is an offical chocolate appreciation week.

chocolate appreciation week? Really.. I am on it... I ,of course, appreciate chocolate everyday but a whole week to just chocolate appreciation.. YUMMY

Let's see.. we can start the days with chcolate eggs and chocolate bagels with chocolate chip cream cheese and drink chocolate milk.. snacks might be chocolate cheese or chocolate covered pretzels ..

For lunch we could always have a chocolate ice cream sandwhich, with a side of chocolate covered chips and a chocolate shake.

Thanks for the kind words about Stephanie's first confession yesterday.

The service they had was very nice, and Stephanie did really well.
They had a "communial" reconciliation, which is where several priests are there and you do your confession in public (away from people so no one can hear what you are saying). I told Stephanie's teacher that Steph was very nervous, so she made sure that Stephanie went to our priest, which was nice, because Stephanie knows him. Kevin and I were chuckling, because she was talking to him for a L O N G time - what was she telling him???? If must have been somewhat amusing, because I saw the priest smiling alot.

Not to much going on today - I have alot to do around the house. Plus Stephanie has to finish writing a book for school tomorrow. She is writing a story about having a sleepover with Cinderella in her castle It will be a really cute story!!!!

Well, I gotta run and get ready for church

I was laughing my butt off when I read that thread.


I have been kinda careful about what I post on the DIS since the " the witch hunt" of -7 LOl when they burned me at the stake for my thoughts on Welfare abuse .

Miss being here though and I swear to check in better .


No Oct Disney for me this year ( at least I dont think so ) we leave on a cruise in 2 weeks and then I am not sure what else the ol Dh has planned for this year. He swears no Disney but of course he said that last year and I went to Disneyland 2 times and WDW 2 times so who knows : )
