Geffric--- my in-laws still has the off-site 2nd bedroom available between 9/22-9/29ish.

Hmmm.. I can't go then, DH is out of town for business but thanks.. maybe they could get a 2 bedroom for the end of October???



I'm a bit surprised that Cadsburysmom has not try to find us---she knows basically our town and what our car looks like. I guess she doesn't know we have DSL now.

Maybe I'll call her and tell her to come over to your house and DIS.. LOL

I was going to surprise her with it, but I caved and showed it to her early I'm going to get it printed in an 8 x 10 and frame it for her room (I'm a professional picture framer you know ). It will look so cute in there

I do have another DD and her name is Katie. She doesn't have any crocs, but she really loves Minnie Mouse. Since you offered, would you please make another one with purple crocs? Thanks Wally - you're the best!!!!!

We are not sure what caused our power lost---most likely tree branches down somewhere or a transformer. We had a lot of rain and wind---but, 20 miles away in North Raleigh where NC Beast works---not much of anything.

We don't plan to pack until 9/17 & the rest at around 5:30ish am on 9/18 plus drop Jessie off at camp on the way to the airport. We need to do laundry on 9/17.

I'm not kidding. We know what we need to pack and we still need to wear clothes before the trip.

I'm one of those goofballs you see wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt on a hot day because I packed all my summer stuff away

But, I know if I don't pack ahead of time, I'm making everyone's life hear miserable because I get so stressed out and crabby (plus I think I have a little OCD or something, because I have to check what I packed several times before we go).

This may be a repeat post for some of you


We just got a phone call this morning from Kevin's Dad telling us that Kevin's grandma finally passed away last night . Her death was a good thing She was 87, she couldn't eat, she couldn't drink, she couldn't talk, she didn't know who we were - it was time for her to go to heaven where she could be herself again. I hope her and my Grandma can meet up somewhere where they can keep an eye on us together

It's sad to think we are going to live in a world without our Grandma's, but her and my Grandma gave us so many wonderful memories - I thank God everyday for those memories!!!!
