Just recently purchased a phone with Mp3 ringtone capabilites. I'll be going to Disney in June and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for a ringer I should use. I was thinking, "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow." There are sooo many possiblities - it's almost overwhelming - so I'm lookin' to you guys for suggestions. TIA!! :)

Hey, this is a good idea. Let me know if you find any MP3s like this! Would be very cool to do this.

wow, where did you find all of them?

bumping up...cuz i'd like to know where you got them from too!

Just do a search for Disney midi files (midi files are the same as mp3 - you can just rename them to mp3). You can find practically any song you are looking for. If you want something specific I can see if I have it and try e-mailing it to you. Just let me know.

I should clarify - what I do is take an mp3 or midi file and I have a data cord that I can connect to the computer. Then I use a free program called bitpim to transfer the data to the phone. It has saved me from having to pay to download ringtones.

A MIDI file is just a series of tones and when you convert it to Mp3 it still is just tones.

Wav files are ones with voice/music and can be converted to Mp3 .They just cut down a song or sound track to a shorter period of time to fit as a ring tone.

Just a quick clarification here (and I know I'm waaaay late to this party): MP3s are NOT the same as MIDI files.

An MP3 or WAV file is essentially a digital recording of an actual "real" sound waveform.

A MIDI file is essentially a computer program that tells your computer how to play a song using an internal synthesizer. You're not listening to a recording per se... but a "live" performance by your PC.

Think of the difference this way: a MIDI file is like a player piano roll, while a MP3 or WAV is like a phonograph record.

NOTE: Simply changing the file's extension (MID to MP3) does NOT change the format of the file.
