Trying to get some info on this. If you want to move a PIF cruise that was totally paid for in full after the PIF date passed what is the penalty with the deposit? 10% would have been the deposit and was told that that amount would be lost if transferred to another date. Is that right? Currently at 74 days out

It depends on how long past the PIF date -- which may depend on the itinerary. Generally, at 74 days, that's just within and cancellation is deposit. HOWEVER, even if you only had to pay a 10% deposit (for an OBB), I believe the penalty is 20%.

Enjoy your cruise!

Yes, they treat moving a booking the same as cancelling once you have reached the penalty phase, except that instead of refunding the non-penalty amount they can move it to the new reservation.

The timing differs based on the cruise you are booked on but at 74 days on most sailings (not holiday or concierge bookings) the penalty would be the deposit amount.

Why bother moving the money ?, eat the 20%, get a refund and just pay the deposit for new cruise
